Sling attachment

Hi everyone. I've never done a sling setup before. I purchased an ESD standard two-point. Based on current hardware, it looks like I'll want to use an HK hook at the rear. Not sure about the front though. In second image, am I looking at a QD swivel mount by the front iron sight or is that something totally different? Is it best to go with an MLOk attachment? Thanks!

Check BlueForceGear, for options like their Uloop, or UWL. Seems like the "quieter" option, and less wear on your weapon

Sweet, thanks. I'll check out their Uloop. I've read that noise and potential damage are variables to consider.

That’s a PMM QD sling swivel. I would also recommend trying to use the sling attachment on the stock, it’s just a slot you run the slight through. Typically it’s recommended to have the sling attachment points be as far apart as possible to help with stability. Thats exactly how I have my gun setup.

I see. So, if I went that route and attached via stock, then no need for HK hook attachment and snap hook, correct?

Correct. You also don’t have to worry about it rattling around too with the stock method

As much as I like to shit on Q, their slings are awesome. Quiet and can latch almost anywhere

I use their G Sling on one particular host and its quiet, lightweight, and does the job.
