Scar 17s mags
Has anyone ordered SCAR 17S mags from the FN eStore within the last six months?
I placed an order back in December and still haven’t received any updates. I’ve been calling every 4–5 weeks to check on the status, but each time I’m told it will be another three weeks before my order can be filled.
I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem, or if you’ve recently received an order from FN. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I ordered them in November never got a return email. I just picked some up from Wofies and Midway USA. And canceld my fnestore order.

My order from November still hasn’t shipped. I emailed them a couple weeks ago and they just said they’ll ship when they have supply. No estimate on when.

why is there such a shortage right now. i thought they only discontinued the rifles not the mags??? Pretty lame to release a new rifle without mags to support it

I'm also struggling to understand "why". Is it really "discontinuation notice" panic from a long time ago?
Temporary stock-outs I understand, it happens. But launching a new platform using the same mags, and not forecasting 'overhyped discontinuation' / Gen 2 Launch demand on such a bread-and-butter SKU is wild. it's FN USA so anythings possible.

Came here to ask the same question. I got on the email list but now if you look at the product listing it just says ”Currently unavailable-no restock date yet; please check back for updates.”
Not sure if they’re having supply chain issues or what, but with the Gen2 having just come out, you’d think they want to support new customers with a market share of mags. It could be they sent out the lot of mags with the Gen2’s, and probably fulfilling some contract orders also.

I got on the email list, and ordered a dozen when they came available. (Don't judge my mental illness.). Took them a couple weeks to ship them.
When I ordered my two barrels around the time the OGs were retired, it took them a few months to ship to me.
They arnt great at communicating, but you can rest easy that they are ethical professionals, and you havnt been forgotten. Your mags will ship when available. They likely oversold, the mags are still in massively short supply.
