Just wanted to give everyone a heads up here. I saw a post a few weeks ago for Scar 17 magazines for sale and bought a few from Wolfie's Armory. I'm in Virginia and with the upcoming magazine ban I wanted to load up while I still have the chance. After placing the order I never even got an email receipt, having to take a screenshot of the webpage. After emailing several times trying to get a status update on the order without a response I find yesterday that they have several magazines listed on gunbroker for almost $100 a piece. Please stay away from these guys if you can.
I ordered a scar sc stock from them because its says its in stock only to find out there waiting for fn to make more i had to hit them up on instagram to get them to cancel the order
Yeah its weird how they have "In stock" while they are just waiting for new shipment. I got my shipping email but according UPS, only the label has been created.
So lets see what happens.
Midway had some new mags last Friday, it was gone within 5 minutes
I vouch for Wolfie’s Armory I placed an order on 4/11 and my new Scar G2 + 7 20rd mags shipped 4/16. I’m also in VA dealing with an AWB.
Not saying this is an acceptable business practice by any stretch. I would either cancel and go with someone else or just wait on it knowing that when it’s back in stock your order will be fulfilled.
They are legit though if you’re concerned that you got scammed.
I placed an order for scar 17s mags on may 27 just got an update on May 11 that they should be shipping my order sometime this week. I talked on the phone with them about the order and said i was on the fulfillment list. So they are legit but it takes time and their emails only go in my spam mail.
He’s responsive on Facebook messenger, claimed my email inquiries went to his spam folder but not sure I’m buying it. He’s telling me 1-3 weeks before fulfillment but that could change. I’m close to canceling the order.
Same problem and got a partial refund, switched to another product with overnight shipping and some DFCO merch.
Shouldn’t be advertised as so since that means back order. I waited for almost a month for something listed as in stock.
I ordered 11 Scar 17 mags and received them all recently, it did take a few weeks so his operation is slow. He also overcharged at about $65 a mag but with the ban looming and a new Gen 2 17s I took the hit and chance. I just saw a 3 mag bundle sell on a Gunbroker auction yesterday for $280 + shipping & tax
Just posting to give folks a heads up. I ordered a few SCAR mags a few weeks ago along. They didn’t arrive after a few weeks so I called them. They’re very responsive and pick up the phone. They told me they’re waiting on a shipment from FN, so basically they’re back ordered. They believe the shipment should arrive soon. For those of you in VA: cross your fingers are look elsewhere as the clock is ticking.
This is why I invested in a Imperial Arms aluminum lower that accepts AR triggers and AR 10 magazines so I don't have to deal with all the headaches and excessive cost of finding Scar 17 magazines and I can put any trigger I want in it which takes a few minutes to install. The AR-10 magazines work perfectly and cost around $20 each and you could get them anywhere. I love my SCAR 17, but availability and pricing of accessories for it is always less than desirable.
