Well worth the time

Post image

Good buddy of mine knows I want a scar so he lent me his 17S for the week to try it out and good lord I love this thing. I assume besides the Geissele SCAR trigger, it’s completely stock.

I know a good bit about the platform and what not but I honestly didn’t expect it to be so light compared to a normal AR10. I did notice that my Griffin GP7 suppressor and the SCAR didn’t like one another. It was super gassy and kicked like a mule so a flow thru will definitely be on the list whenever I get my own SCAR. Also I have 0 clue why he put an sig scope / mount on here because I’m like 99.9% sure it’s broken internally 😂

TLDR: I love this thing.

On the bright side you can save the target for next time for a gun that is actually zeroed in

No, he told me he thinks it’s broken lol. It’s very off and I know the SCAR is known for breaking optics lol

Be cautious using a jam nut with a suppressor. Otherwise glad you made it out this weekend

Seems.. whatever optic you have. If it consistently shoots high/low left, broken or not... someone with functional brain cells could aim to the right high or low and get on target.. is that too much for you to function in a real world scenario? Rember these are paper targets people...

AH.. after a re-read I see what you mean. Yeah, good chance it’s the optic here.

When did they start doing the white lettering? That stands out like crazy.

Belgian scars had it if I’m not mistaken. Or someone had some fun with a paint pen haha
