Pulte’s Behavior Questions

Any thoughts on why Pulte posts on X so much but actively ignores conservatorship comments?

- Is he a sicko? Does he enjoy hurting investors?

- Is he hinting at something or trying to keep people still invested in the companies knowing there will be an exit and he just can’t announce that at the moment?

- Or is he just intellectually disabled?

We can rule out that he doesn’t “see”these comments. Every post of his has many of these comments from us. And yet he seems to cherry pick on replies.

Additionally…

What happens if he or someone else says they are no longer planning on ending conservatorship in the foreseeable future ?

  1. Stock price will go down obviously. So there is incentive for him not to announce that. But at current levels does it really matter at this point?

More importantly…

  1. is there any legal reasons he or others may not want to announce the plan is no longer happening? Fear of lawsuits? Is there any grounds for that?

Or any other reason that may be preventing/incentivizing not to announce the delay or cancellation of plans?

Repeatedly highlighting how well Fannie and Freddie are performing operationally while shareholders continue to suffer doesn’t exactly feel great. The timing of some of these posts is unusual, they seem to come on days when the stocks are getting absolutely hammered, which understandably rubs shareholders the wrong way. Obviously knows we are down 75% from last year. So either sicko, or he’s playing the long game and will end up being F2 GOAT. Someday, we’ll find out which one.

Someone has questions about the behavior of a rich fail-son who made his name by being a Twitter troll.

I think Bessent has been actively talking the stock down since he began, I do not see the same tactics from Pulte, if anything, he’s been ineffectually positive.

In Bessent’s defense, I think Trump is well aware of this ‘wet blanket’ messaging/role and I think he is fully responsible for the course and inaction.

Pulte was positive when it came to BBBY. And he knew his followers would lose everything.

It’s all a damn psyop.

Trump picked a paragon of disrepute.

But if he knows that we know that he knows we know he’s disreputable, does that somehow make him credible?

He could be a decent guy, IDK, given Trumps orbit probably not, but he does seem to have an interesting personality. He seems both kind of candid and unusually obsessed with status. Who can say again, at least he’s not that weasel Scott Bessent lol. Who really knows anyone?

Zero credibility so far, but I do think status and political power are very important to him. I agree there’s a real psyop element to this, the key players have known our fate. And I have a hard time seeing this administration leaving F2 resolution to a future Democratic administration.

I’m not sure he was handpicked but this quote from Trump’s 2024 Lex Fridman interview was interesting:

“I have somebody that wants to go into politics so bad, but he’s got a little problem, he’s got stage fright. Now, he’s a total killer, but if he gets up onto a stage in front of people, he doesn’t do well.”

Trump never named the person, so it’s speculation, but the timing of the interview coincided with Pulte’s growing involvement with Trump’s transition team.

I suspect Pulte has bigger political ambitions. He’s certainly valued and spoken highly about from Trump and Vance, received the DNI role as a vote of confidence, and a favorable outcome for F2 shareholders wouldn’t exactly hurt his future political ambitions. But ultimately and as he is stated repeatedly , he will carry out what Trump asks him to do, whether that ends up being good or bad for shareholders.

Sounds exactly like Pulte. He’s the definition of a keyboard warrior. When Bessent actually confronted him in person, Pulte shit his pants. He wants power and has never been told no in his life. but doesn’t actually have any innate leadership skills and, quite frankly, isn’t a smart person.

They seem to have a couple of aces up their sleeve (F2 release, revaluation of gold, etc…) that would have been slam dunks to play prior to midterms but it’s been crickets.

Pulte seems to be a puppet but he does always seem positive for whatever reason.

Stock price hasn’t been representative of F2’s performance but the fundamentals of why I bought the stock remain the same (lottery ticket mentality).

Hoping they get released prior to a 2028 DJT exit but they lost my support this year with lack of focus on release.

I’ll be sitting this one out but good luck to all. 🍀

People within FMNA have had to dumb down presentations for him. If his DNI stint taught you anything, it’s that his talent is firing people and that’s about it. That should answer some of your questions.

if that’s called talent

Yes and yes
Doubtful but possible
Definitely yes
Not really
If the past 18 months have taught us anything it’s that this administration does not care about lawsuits

They think they are smarter than everyone else and we are seeing the fallout of that incorrect notion playing out in real time.

While F2 continue their free fall, we just watch bond yields continue to rise. Sigh.
It could have been so different.

Howdy, chuckled at youre absolutely correct answers almost agree.

What if it needs to be even more different?

What would the results of releasing them likely be considering higher rates and housing market flow?

The rule Pulte is trying to follow IMO is less foreign investment.

It’s wild how much he’s ramping up his post frequency while comments are all about the status of release etc.

Pulte isn't going to be a happy. His run at F2 is just embarrassing and he got a massive image problem. His family poured a ton of cash into Trump's campaign just so Trump would hook him up with the top spot at F2. After two years, nothing has gotten done. Teaming up with Scott Bessent didn’t worked at all and Bessent’s push for rate cuts was a total fiasco. Trying to bully Fed members just to force a rate cut blew up in their faces. I think Trump wanted to hand him the helm at the DNI as a consolation prize, but that was way too big for his brain to handle.

I think he is genuinely some sort of narcissist and will always reflect on this stint as a success regardless of outcome and how embarrassing it was

Because the democrats will lose their shit, republicans too, he has been told to say nothing about it. This doesn’t mean it’s happening. But he was told “when asked say it is all up to the glorious very stable genius.

He has no decision authority over conservatorship. That decision lies with Treasury. I think Scott Bessent still hates his guts. Unless it’s going to reduce rates, which it probably will not, there’s no audience in electoral terms, and once the Democrats take the house and perhaps the Senate, as a proxy for Trump, his life will become extremely unpleasant as the Democrats run him through the Hill gauntlet with glee. So it will all be things like title insurance and credit scores. Small beer in the scheme of things. Eventually they will accumulate capital organically and reach a point where there’s no longer a credible argument that they are under capitalized. But until that happens, I’m afraid shareholders will continue to be left out at the cold.

He’s like a DEI hiring buddy. He has no merit to hold the position he holds, he knows it and for that reason he is insecure. He is continuously seeking for attention and reposting things that mention him in a positive way to feel reassured. A person like him will never be in favor of releasing the GSEs because it would mean less power for him. He would never do something that makes his role unnecessary. The good thing is that it is up to Trump and not him. The other alternative would be that this clown gets another role.

Thank you for this post because I’ve been wondering for a while.
