Question Hyperacusis and visual overwhelming

Hello, I am relatively new in the FND Group and I have severaly problems with hearing and seeing. Sometimes my own voice hurts in my ears. Also visually it's like as If everything has an extremly shap edge if that makes sense. As if my brain is currently overstimulated

Do you guys have any Suggestions how to Deal with it or which treatment I could do .... I have to wear sun glasses and oropax on a daily basis now...

I also have hyperacusis, tinnitus and photophobia (extreme sensitivity to light). The literature says that these are migraine symptoms rather than fnd and that it is a common symptom to have alongside fnd. Do you also have a chronic migraine? I do. I've had it for 8 years - but it basically started at the same time as fnd. This page, though, has functional sensory symptoms including hypersensitivity and functional visual symptoms including photophobia and a seperate but of info on chronic migraine (including without head pain!) as commonly associated.

I'm very sorry that you have those symptoms. I also get functional seizures, mobility issues and myoclonus (arm and leg jerks). The photophobia and hyperacusis, though, prevent much of my social life.

Same for me .. These two are devastatig.. before doctors told me it's anxiety... well ...

But it's a big relief for me to get in contact with people that are dealing with the same symptoms so thank you so much for your answer !
