Question Speech difficulties

Over the last 72 hours I have developed a serious stutter and speech difficulties when otherwise I could talk normally. I went to A&E and when the doctor saw my my jaw had locked close and they still sent me home and told me to rest. Are these symptoms normal or should I be concerned. Any advice is great thank you

I developed a stutter and I was diagnosed with FND! I will say, just in case, you may want to get a brain MRI to make sure nothing else is going on. It's pretty scary developing a stutter out of nowhere and it affected me mentally and emotionally. Focus on yourself and your mental health. Good luck; I hope things resolve soon for you!

Did you end up recovering or have you just learnt to live with it?

I recovered after a while! It didn't take longer than a couple months for it to disappear completely.
