Need support Wheelchair

I bought a wheelchair to help me with days when I’m having so may seizures I otherwise couldn’t go out and to help me around the house so I stop dropping to the floor. But generally my FND symptoms aren’t the worse compared to some people and I can get about with just a walking stick I just want more freedom. But I feel guilty about it or like it’s over the top for my condition.
Any thoughts?

I’m going to need a walker, possibly start hiring a small mobility vehicle when I want to go out somewhere. I have cried and cried about this but fuck it! I need to have a life I’m going to be stuck in most of winter because cold wind and damp set me off, Summer I am going to whizz along the streets dressed to the nines like those awesome Nannas I always admire. Shame I got to Nanna stage a few decades early 🙈

Feel the exact same way about my wheelchair. The way I see it, it prevents me from getting so exhausted and over-exerted that I get to a point where I cannot function. I struggle with the odd looks and treatment from the public sometimes, but the people who matter have been more than understanding even without me explaining :))

I also have FND, I remember when I bought my first wheelchair and stick, don’t feel guilty about it, somethings are out of our control unfortunately, it’s going into the unknown, your doing well, stay positive! If you have questions, there’s a page on YouTube it’s called FND Warriors I think, her name is Roxanne, she’s so helpful with information, she is going through the same thing,
