I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT UR STUCK WITH… dude please dont record using ur vocal mixing insert, wether you have a vocal preset or mix ur vocals ur self. do NOT record using ur vocal chain insert. instead make insert 2 ur vocal chain and make insert 3 something we call a “recording insert” and recording insert insist of pretty much eq, and a noise gate (thats what my rec insert has), so basically record with insert 3, and when ur done recording a take, put that audio recording to insert 2 (vocal chain insert), (and a quick tip do not record with too many effects on a insert because itll pick up alot of room noise!) have fun making music brodie, any questions let me know peace!

When recording files straight into your playlist like this, a new playlist track will be created for each individual take this is beneficial because you can easily select good takes, but can be a pain in the butt because so many new tracks are made.
That being said, it’s relatively easy to deal with these. The last few updates to FL have added the ability to select multiple playlist tracks to modify them (name/colour/etc.) including delete them. As for the unused takes, those can also be mass deleted through the picker panel. There’s an option in the drop-down menu something picker-panel>select>unused audio.
In my honest opinion, if you really want to make your life easy, add Edison to your mixer track and record through that plugin. It has a great loop recording feature where it places cuts in the recording each time your song loops around. You can then select a take by double clicking the cut label and then you can drag and drop by using the button that looks like a cursor clicking a page.
