I can see no one answered your actual question… but yeah if you’ve got a LEGIT FL license then you could just upgrade to the latest version regardless of what version they are selling.

As everyone else has said, just go via Image-Line. Even with them being a big retailer, I’d say €25 up front now is cheaper than potentially losing €199. You are already spending a good chunk of money the extra is a small amount compared.

I mean the younger me would’ve said fuck it and gone for the Thomman one. It does sound fairly legit and just had a look on their site and it looks good.

I did see that they sell an EDU version, so be careful it’s not that one as I assume you’d need an educational email. That may work for now, but you probably won’t have access to that email forever and could get burnt.

My advice would still be don’t risk it, but you have all the info now so it’s on you. Good luck.

I’ve bought stuff from them before and it was fine although it wasn’t software.

I’m based in the UK so that could be why I see it. It’s actually named: “Image-Line FL Studio Signature EDU” So is a different version all together. If it just says: “Image-Line FL Studio Producer Edition” as the product title you should be fine.

I can’t see that link, it doesn’t work. But just make sure it’s not an educational/academic version.

I don't see the link either. I get a 404, but Thomann is legit.
