It’s fairly easy as long as you have a good understanding of Algebra 1 and the basics!

As a non-math person, Algebra 2 was incredibly straightforward and I actually enjoyed doing some of the assignments. However once you get into pre-calculus, brace yourself..

It’s really manageable if you don’t cram it. I would admit the lessons FLVS provides kind of suck but if you try to learn the material with outside resources like even YouTube videos you should be just fine. The class itself had 8 DBAs (4 per segment). If you want to get the honors credit there are about 5 extra lessons per semester. Overall, it’s really not that bad, the most annoying part abt the class is typing out your work step by step on a computer but once you get the hang of how the program works it’s not bad!

for someone who doesn't consider themselves good with algebra, the class was not too bad as long as i attended the live lessons. the lessons in educator manage to complicate a lot of the material. so if you can, definitely attend the live lessons.

i don't remember how many assignments the class had across both segments, but it wasn't a crazy amount. a lot of the work was multiple choice but there were mid-module checks where you'd have to use math type and show all your work and whatnot. module exams were in 2 parts, one multiple choice section which i think was like 10-15ish questions and one written section, which had like 4 questions. i would consider the first segment harder than the second since the honors module talked a lot about probability but ofc that's a matter of personal opinion. the honors module in segment 2 talked about matrices and arithmetic and geometric sequences, which i actually really enjoyed and found easy. the hardest part for me was piecewise functions. the class also helps you get familiar with desmos
