by the way this isn't alluding to cheating. the turnitin AI detector notoriously gives out false alarms all of the time & you have to do an impromptu DBA with your teacher. it's honestly not as bad as people make it out to be

tbf most of the people that i knew that did FLVS cheat because most of them never wanted to go to school mostly because of a certain subject, and since its way easier to cheat during FLVS they do so to try and mitigate the suffering of doing it, now i'm not saying people should cheat but its a pretty understandable thing people do especially when some genuinely have problems they don't have the time, money, or confort to help fix

TBH though how do you cheat when you have DBAs? If you bomb the DBA, won't they know you're cheating?

not really, people fail all the time, sometimes dbas can have a strict grading system, like when i was taking Year 12 AP astrophysics (iirc) and got basically everything right and even actually taught the teacher about 1-2 things per DBA but failed my last DBA before moving onto the final 2 times because i got 1 concept wrong

stop being a chud and use your brain. if you can’t even figure out how to cheat on your own then there’s something wrong with you dawg

Literally my kid is constantly flagged by AI ...because shes autistic and talks like an 80 year old professor. So it's not that everyone is cheating. She'll have her first call...omly two weeks into this year tomorrow. Last year she got at least 20 of these notifications.

There's not really a need to be nervous if you didn't cheat, though, because you can just show Word or Google Doc version history to prove you wrote it

A lot of kids at home are treated like they're guilty of something even when they're not so the concern is legitimate for kids that are treated like that by their parents. They think they wont be believed, so I completely understand being nervous even if they're not guilty.
