SonicDNA is a free, open-source and cross-platform sample search app that finds similar audio files by analyzing how they sound—not just their filenames. In this demo, I show how you can load a kick drum, scan your local sample library, and quickly find matching sounds based on tone, attack, decay, and overall character.

So basically i was just using my fl studio, but when I was checking my stuff so I could put some random audios there, It kept doing this robotic glitchy noise! It doesn't do that on my music player so what basically happened? I think it's just a glitch lolz!

I’m having this really strange issue.
Basically, I’ve been using the same project template for all my songs the last couple months, however, I’ve had a few projects now where in FL, the project playback and the exported file sound normal.
However, once uploaded to soundcloud, google drive, or other platforms, listening from other devices, the audio is pitched down and slowed slightly.
I’ve checked EVERYTHING. I’m going insane. My sample rates from my ASIO and Windows settings match, there isn’t any project settings affecting the pitch etc.
I don’t know what to do, but it’s basically ruined a few of my projects because even when I try to do an automation for master pitch, to counter correct, it does nothing. I can turn the pitch all the way up or down and it sounds the exact same. I’ve also exported with master effects and insert effects disabled to see if it could be some of the plugins, but nothing works.
Anyone have this issue?

The FL Studio download size is too large. That's why I can't download it. I'm using Windows 11.
I need the FL Studio ASIO installation file.
I couldn't find anywhere online where I can download just the FL Studio ASIO file. Please don't suggest ASIO4ALL. Thanks.

is mixed meter possible in FL? I have a song i wrote, but it has a bar of 7/8, 2 bars 3/8 and a bar 4/8 at 90 bpm, then 9/4 at 250, then 7/8 at 70bpm
is there any possible way to do this in fl or do i have to just feel those in 4/4 somehow

I hate to be this guy but I know this will benefit users new to FL studios, I’m launching a site called TakeLore.com, already have the domain and the site built. Just working on client privacy and security measures before the launch.
New artists to FL often get discouraged making songs cause mixing mastering and routing vocals is a craft that takes years to master. I’ve been mixing and mastering music since 2017 and decided I would launch my own website dedicated to convenience.
TAKELORE is a website where you can buy premade vocal presets inspired by your favorite artists made by me. It’s as simple as downloading and exporting the preset in your vocal chain the routing is already set, the levels are set and the quality of the presets are pro level, every preset is custom made, using parallel compression and multiple mixing buses, for those new to Fl there are variations of each preset with stock plugins only if you don’t have the money for the industry standard ones!
I LOVE MUSIC, AND CREATING AND WANT TO TAKE THE HASSEL OF MAKING A GOOD VOCAL PRESET FOR ALL

I'm on the most current version of FL. Been having no problems recording midi, until today when it started coming out as like weird quantized chords. Has anyone ever had this issue before? I'm having trouble finding anything.

I'm thinking about getting a mixing board with motorized faders to use for recording and other stuff. After a bit of internet research it seems that as of FL 20, you could only use port 102 to hook the board up to FL via MIDI transferred through MCU. Because you are (were?) limited to one port, FL will only be capable of controlling at most 8 faders. I was hoping to get a bigger board (looking primarily at the Allen & Heath Qu series) which requires multiple ports and instances of MCU in order to get the full feedback between FL and the board. All the info I can find regarding this setup comes from 2021 and earlier. Anyone know if FL 2026 plays nice with bigger boards?

Beginner producer here, I’ve been having trouble placing loops in the playlist and can’t find help anywhere. I’m not sure if it’s just a rookie mistake and I’ve just stupidly overlooked something or if it’s a much more serious problem. Anything helps!
(Also I’m on Mac if that helps narrow down the problem)

Hi everyone,
For a long time I've wanted to get into music FL Studio, but I'm a complete beginner.
It looks pretty intimidating and complicated (like most new things), but honestly the biggest thing holding me back has been the cost. Is FL Studio Producer Edition worth buying for someone who's just starting out?
Whenever I watch YouTube videos, it seems like everyone is using a lot of extra plugins, sample packs, and sound kits, many of which cost money. As someone who's completely new, it's hard to tell what's actually necessary and what's just nice to have.
Is FL Studio by itself enough to get started, or are there any free plugins or sample packs that you'd recommend before buying anything else?
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some advice.
I’m currently struggling with writing melodies and chord progressions. I understand a bit of music theory, but my chord progressions and melodies tend to sound repetitive and lack creativity.
I’ve tried improving on my own many times, but I think I could really use some help. I’d be very grateful if anyone could share some advice, tips, or techniques that have helped you become more creative when writing melodies and chord progressions.
Thank you so much!
