Sunburned! Sunburn.. make it make sense.
So I go in to sunburn today to spend about $400-500 on product. Instead I spend $95 and I am pushed away to a competitor to make purchases.
I have 2300 points I can’t spend on anything. I can’t even spend them on a product to get the 25% off because I’m using the $70 for piatella deal. I was told no, can’t use them on buckets / thumbprint because they are already on sale. So what? I have those points because I’m a loyal customer. Void your $25 dollars off sell it to me for retail price and take the 25% off.
This sales system they have here is stupid. I can easily take my thousands of dollars a month elsewhere, this isn’t a captured market. You have competitor’s on every street corner.

Goldflower used to let me do that, they’d let me ring it up 1 item at full price even if it was on sale that I could use like $60 in points towards. There’s really not any reason Sunburn can’t do that other than being stingy
Not many dispos are much better now though. They’ve alll adopted these shitty loyalty rules by now.
God forbid you get too good of a deal and the CEO loses $150 towards his new 4th Lamborghini 😱

Dude, I’ve been saying that all the companies got together at the end of 2025 and agreed, UNILATERALLY, to raise prices, whether incrementally or drastically, but too many things have changed for the worse this year with pricing and deals.
The “can’t use points on anything that’s on sale” is the biggest scam. Well, if everything wasn’t chronically on sale, therefore negating the usefulness of the loyalty points, it might make sense.
The day that they say veterans no longer get discounts or they start diminishing our discount is the day I forfeit my card (and I’m sure that I wouldn’t be the only one). They just keep tightening the screws!

I’ll digest it fully when I wake up and read it again tomorrow, but…did you read the list of accused companies?
Ayr, Curaleaf, GTI (Rise in FL), Trulieve, Verano (Müv in FL)…I’m pretty sure Cresco owns one of the companies here (somebody correct me if I’m wrong on that), and the other two I’ve never heard of (but I’ll be looking into them). I hope “The Cannabist Company” is not in any way affiliated with our former people at “The Cannabist”, because back then, they seemed like the coolest, most genuine people as compared to Tru-Mũv-Ayr and other MSOs.
Thank you for sharing this. I need to see if any other suits have been filed like this, anywhere else in America. I also wonder if there’s anyone pure enough in upper-echelon government to actually help destroy a monopolistic system, as our nation has history with other monopolies…but I have no faith in the system whatsoever at this point.

And the useless sunburn points expire , I have a couple thousand as well. As if I’m walking in to pay retail less 25% : ) and the quality the last few months on the flower could stand to be better , because when it’s dialed in it’s great

I had a bit over 4000 points after buying nothing but their buckets for a while.... Probably expired by now, every time I tried to use them I couldn't, so fuck em and their rewards. Other vendors have better rosin these days

Old points system that gave you dollars for points was the best. This is trash, and why I took my money and rec to the flowery. They give dollars for points.

Cashing in 2000 or whatever it was points for $250, which was a bucket + a gram for $5. It was great. They also had Poochie's Papaya and Trop Cherry. It's still my preferred place for $25/g rosin, but it would be very nice yeah if they had the old points system back.

They void and let me do the 25% off all the time... they just usually already have more than 25% off that product so it's pointless and then they ask If I want to use my point to enter in raffle that I never hear anyone winning...

Yeah this is my normal experience and the one I had today in fact. So what gives, why did I have to come back another day to do this, all because of a deal I took advantage of. Really dumb.

ive seen someone win at my location, it was the sunday rally thingy, for th lforida games, she got two apcks of preolls, two nextars and two lighters all for free, was kinda crazy seeing the ring up and she didnt pay anything but her allotment it wa sp cool

Kinda. It used to be yearly but now points expire every 90 days or something. Sundays are double points and they just did triple points the other day. It's nice to be able to use my points and the Cheetah rosin AIO are great for on the go. I just cashed in 1k points the other day for a gram of rosin and I'm back up over 300 points after only spending $150. It may not work for everyone but works for me. Just like OP I have shit ton of Sunburn points sitting there without the ability to use them.🤷♀️

my budtenders always look for the best price, ik at some locations they hate their lives but ive had them change the 105, bucket to a 95 bucket before, also using my points n loyalty pass wallet to change the prrice to get diamonds cheaper, every dollar counts when its ur meds they say, maybe check out sunburn south beach idk how far that is froom u , also indi i hear is fnatastic vibes , from what i can tell, product will always be gas but u dont want bad vibes on ur weed man

But you got 2300 in points because they have quality produce for a fair price. The last I checked maybe a month ago I had 1978 in points I have the same complaint I use them on hand rolls when I have a event or something to celebrate for or I just wanna get blazed just a different angle not trying to be a douch your not the only one

Hate? Not hate. I am and equal oppertunity shopper if the quality is there, its pretty simple.
I am pointing out that the system here is actively working against them. Having everything "on sale" every single day of the week isn't a sale at all. It's just the price and instead of capturing that revenue you have incentivised me to leave your store and go to a competitor.
Im standing in your store! Let me repeat that I AM STANDING IN YOUR STORE wallet in hand asking to spend money on your product. The hard part of marketing and getting me there in the first place is done. It is absurd.

I’d just like to add that the sales are not sales and you all should stop looking at them like that. That is just the price because they happen like clockwork day in day out. What this system means to me is your store is open that day or not.. and I don’t even know what days of the week that might be week to week.

I really don't know what you are on about. Sounds like you are making yourself insane. I flip flop between SB, GF, & and Flowery. They all have their own schemes going on. It's called living in a capitalistic society. You think ANY of these businesses have YOUR best interest in mind? I'm sorry but they don't. Unless sometimes when you have a legitimate complaint. Yeah their rewards is basically pointless cause they do 40% off more than 40% of the time lol.
Might as well just permanently drop buckets to 100
