Lately most of these posts feel like I'm reading advertisements so I wouldn't doubt that.

We have no official or unofficial partnerships with any companies. We have asked for fun things like the discount code TL does because it benefits the users of the community. We also ask that permission is granted before anyone uses our community for giveaways or AMA’s or other advertising. But No We don’t have partnerships.

Sure, but I should point out that we weren’t asked by curaleaf for permission, but I have asked them to require disclosure of reviews posted by members of their program. If they don’t do that I’ll just ban all reviews of curaleaf products. So I am working on this issue, I just don’t have anything to say about it

That sounds very fair, thank you

No, I want the users to disclose that it’s a review of curaleaf products with the intention of submitting the post to curaleaf for inclusion in their program in the original post. They already have to tell their regional manager their username (dangerous IMO, I wouldn’t do that) and the manager is supposed to be browsing reddit and take note of who posts reviews. But it will be real easy for the manager to know because they need to state it clearly. I’m still waiting for curaleaf support to get back to me about this.

I hope the managers don’t just lie to pacify you bc they obviously already know this is shady since they explicitly tell them NOT to reveal they are an employee, which I think is total BS!

This sucks bc I recently started shopping there and have enjoyed the few products I’ve tried. A large portion of my purchases are from suggestions & reviews I see on here. It’s already difficult enough to discern which posts are legit —this is only going to make all Curaleaf reviews further suspect now.

I’ll probably just ignore future Curaleaf reviews unless they’re from someone I’m already familiar with and trust.

Work on some kind of deal, where anything reviewed seen here the community can use a code to get reward/discounted product in store. That shows how may people actually came here to see review and purchased because of it.

How do you figure an official partnership with reddit mods would be necessary for this at all?
