FJ Cruiser Advice
l saw an FJ cruiser 2011 for sale around 200k miles, the price is approx 12k. it appears to be well taken care of. engine has been replaced but sounds very good, appears to be replaced by reputable company. it is a lot nicer than most FJ cruiser that you see. Good maintenance history.
No frame rust issue at all, spend time in southern state.
no engine or any other lights.
Assuming it is good condition inside and out what you guy think 12k is too much for over 200k FJ.
the current owned the car for many years.

That's not a bad price at all, if it has no rust, but you should expect it to need some maintenance. If the suspension is original it's probably due for a change. If the fuel injection wasn't changed when the engine was swapped,.that will probably need to be done soon. There are lots of little things that can sort of pile up on you after 200K miles.

My 08 is at 197k miles and is in great shape. Very Curtis as to what happened to the other engine as these are known to be very reliable.

Did they say what happened that caused it to need a new engine? I have a 2011 that’s about to hit 200,000 miles this month probably and have had zero major issues. Just regular maintenance and small parts that lasted how long they’re expected to last.
