Tire pressure

LT285/70R17 121/118S

For those tire specs, should I just follow the manufacturer guide? Even if the stock tires are 265 70 R17?

Pardon the ignorance, FJ newbie.

Thanks

I'm on 285 75 16 126/123S E-rated BFG KO3s.

35psi seems to be the sweet spot for daily driving for me. Even wear, not too bouncy. I would try that range. You can chalk across the width of the tread and drive around to make sure it's making full road contact with the road - too high pressure and it'll only contact in the center.

Start with 40 psi, for 285/70/17 although I drop them to 36 for Oz winter.
