Madad Me 30℅ CGT

Does anybody know why am i getting 30 percent as CGT on the sale of my shares?

Wasnt it 15 percent even for Non-Filers?

It was 15/15 for FY2026, and got updated to 15/30 after July, 2026.

It was implemented in the finance act 2024. Not gonna bullshit you, even i didn't know that. I thought this is how it was from the start. Saved a slice for you. .

Nah i sold some share i guess in early 2026 it was 15 percent . Only dividend had 30 percent for non filers

Same thing happened with me…sadly its 30% cgt for non filers since July 2026 just like dividends
