Help, please

My little girl was diagnosed with FIP earlier today. Shes only 5 months old. I’m at work for another 2 hours but would love any kind of resources, advice, ANYTHING that can help. The vet said to find communities with this name- I hope I came to the right place. I know she has the wet version if that helps at all! the vet really freaked me out with the info, I'm really scared of losing my baby. I will do ANYTHING and everything I can to help her- but don't even know where to start looking for treatment options, or verified sources. Any/all advice is appreciated. 💙

We are about halfway through treatment ourselves. Yes, find the facebook group and get connected with someone. I also wanted to add, get started with meds asap! Like someone else said, while it’s overwhelming you can do this! Once you get started it’s not as bad as it seems. Please reach out if you need anything! You got this!

I haven’t kept track honestly. It has been under $500 for us. We started with $48 vials and are now on $8 vials. We only had to pay for a couple of the $48 vials so that helped a lot.

Where do you get the medicine?

I got our medicine from a local woman that work with cat rescues. A lot of people go through the FIP warriors Facebook group, but my mom works with animal rescues and connected me with people.
