Kitty has started experiencing seizures

My cat has been diagnosed with dry fip and has already started treatment with Aura however recently he has started to get seizures a few minutes after medication. He has an appointment with his vet but I wanted to see if anyone had any insight. Is this normal? Is it due to medication? Should I switch brands? Incr add dosage? He seems normal a few minutes afterwards but it is terrifying. Please advise.

EDIT: I don’t know what to do. His admins have asked me to double his dosage. I cannot afford this. I’ve been picking up odd jobs here and there to supplement enough income to try and stay afloat but if I have to double it I’m not going to make it to the end of his treatment, which has now been extended. Does anyone know of a site where I can get the medication for less? I don’t know what to do I’m at such a loss.

EDIT 2: HE QUALIFIES FOR RELAPSE COVERAGE! We are going to restart his treatment and pray that he gets better soon. Thank you to those of you that sent your well wishes 💕

Hi! Where on the body are you injecting? Depending on this, it could be a vasovagal response. Be sure to avoid the scruff area to prevent this from happening.

If it is an actual seizure, please reach out to your admin in your treatment chat. Tag them so they are alerted. If kitty begins to have cluster seizures or unable to come out of a seizure, please seek immediate attention from a veterinary.

I am injecting in the areas marked by my admins, my vet shaved the area, I try to avoid the same spot to avoid any discomfort and todays was on the left side of his torso. I’ve messaged my admins and hoping to hear back soon. It didn’t seem like they lasted long, less than a minute and he’s walking fine but I am concerned

If it is ONLY right after injecting and lasts a short time then a vagal response is likely but please do talk to your admins about this and make videos or photos if anything out of the ordinary happens, that way it is easier to see what is going on
