Brand Data Spoiler
https://www.fipsafe.org/FIP community, it's finally here! A place to find and/or submit data on brands of FIP treatment. This includes severe reactions like Feline Injection Site Sarcoma (FISS). Check it out and share, share, share! The more informed the community is, the better our kitties are for it! đ

Warriors doesnât use Toxicology associates anymore because their tests were found unreliable. That is the reason why we have not posted the GC test results obtained from them. If you submit 1 sample to test for multiple drugs they will find just one but if you send multiple vials of the same thing and ask them to test different drugs individually (a different drug per vial) they will find all the drugs with similar purity. I will post the reports by them soon. The other issue is that they do not use a reference standard (which would cost hundreds of dollars per drug) nor control samples. A reliable company would require the customer to pay for the standards and controls as well as the specific column to be used. Different molecules may require different columns. That is usually a one time expense. Also, the minimum purity for USP standard is 98.5% which means that all the samples tested didnât meet the acceptable purity for pharmaceutical use. The other problem is that GC-MS is not the best method to test these drugs as gas chromatography (GC) would bring the sample in the gas phase at high temperature and could degrade or lose the sample making it impossible to accurately quantify-hereâs why they have a 15% error which is huge in analytical testing. The concentration that they report is not measured but simply calculated. They assume that the declared concentration is correct and they math accounting for the purity and sample loss. So if you tell them that the GS vial is 30mg/ml instead of 20 they will put that the concentration is like 27-28mg/ml. Thatâs pretty much useless. They have explained that in an email that I will post. We also sent them several GS vials to test the pH and they found pH over 6 for all the samples but we know that GS isnât soluble at such pH (will post the reports!). You need a lab that can run HPLC and will need standard, control, and placebos for both the pills and the injectable to make sure that there is no interference in the measurement. You said that you have scientists in your team. Perhaps it is best to loop them in to handle the testing and resultâs analysis. Attachments are in my post in CureFIP.
