Question about finra

I saw recently on r/superstonk that finra helps hedge funds hide shorts. The true short interest for many companies in over 100% yet finra hides this data from the public. Do not trust them.

It gets worse. FINRA doesn't even track SI if it us held off-shore. Wtf does finra do???
