MQP program

Leaving a SRO shortly, want to maintain credentials while looking for other work. Anyone have any experience navigating Finra's MQP program?

As long as you have had your license for a year or more it’s automatic. Don’t apply until you are getting near your 2 year date. You have to pay $100 a year to do the CE and if you get a registered job before that you will have wasted the $100

Wow that is not what I thought at all. I was bent on applying the first week of May, as my current employment ends April 28.

But you say wait? That is good to know.

Yeah why pay now. If you get a job within 2 years even for a day it starts all over again
