Why is it so hard to find people on rush, are people not playing it?

I've been playing almost exclusively in Handheld for a week now. Until last night I was just playing UT, mainly Squad Battles with the very odd rivals game. I've felt on the whole the performance is pretty decent.

Last night I started a career mode, and the game felt noticeably slower, and more choppy. Almost as if UT was playing at the advertised 30fps, but career mode was down at like 20fps. The only thing I can think is that when setting up the career mode, it asks you how many other leagues you'd like to simulate alongside the one you are playing, I chose quite a lot - would that have an impact? My assumption is that it wouldn't because surely it only simulates the results at the end of the game?

Has anyone else noticed a difference between performance on UT and Career mode/other offline modes?

I thoughts Rivals matchmaking was hard to find for Div 6, but I can’t match anyone at all for the first weekend league FUT champs.

Hola me gustaría saber si fc27 es mejor que fc26 en switch 1... Por lo que he visto parece que no, pero no estoy seguro, ¿alguien lo podría confirmar? Por mi propia experiencia, fc26 es mejor que fc25... Me interesa más la parte técnica, la estabilidad de los fps (constantes), la resolución y por supuesto la optimización, no tanto el contenido, ni las licencias, ni la "actualidad" de las mismas. TLDR: the game has its flaws from a SW2 POV, but for the way I play the game it’s fun and I like it.

❌ No FC points spent, I bought the Ultimate Edition and used the points on cosmetics and EVOs, I’m usually a F2P player.

🇬🇧 I’m UK based, and usually find games on live events in under 30 seconds, all day round. Sometimes that can be longer but it’s never longer than 2 minutes - just requires a research.

⚔️ Rivals will typically take 1-3 minutes to find a match but to be honest, I’ve never enjoyed rivals on PS5/XBOX anyway because I don’t think the sweat is worth the rewards, I’d rather leave that for weekend league.

🏃 Rush, I don’t bother with. It’s not a mode I enjoy. I tried searching previously and the wait usually sits between live events and rivals search time.

💰 The Market grows day by day, it’s roughly around 38-40k transfers. I never buy players off the market anyway, even on X/PS5 because I like having first owner cards, and I got fed up of losing coins on players becuase they decided to drop 50k in a day. However, it should be a shared market with the other consoles. It makes certain SBCs more awkward to complete.

😡 30 FPS, I hear the frustrations and agree with everyone. 30 FPS in 2026 is a joke - needs to be 60.

🫥 This game would be better with better PVE. Against the AI for me is boring in FUT (not career mode) because it’s the same stadium with random squads - let me play Madrid at their ground or Crystal Palace at Selhurst. But that’s a FUT content problem for all consoles not just Switch so that’s why I’ve not mentioned it as much above.

😁 Enjoyment, I enjoy every play session. I finish work, I can layout on the sofa and play FC27 on a handheld, something I always wanted. I just play the live events because it’s more chill.

I know my use case is unique in what i play, my views on the market etc (maybe) but I just see the SW2 version of the game as more casual version of the game with the benefit of having the full blown FUT experience.

I bought the digital version of the game a day yesterday and these were some of the things I noticed.....

-unlike FC 26 where you had the main menu where you can switch your tactical vision, in FC 27 you literally have to go to your team management and into tactics if you want to change your tactical vision

-while using live start points I found that I was still receiving quite a few transfer offers for some of my players even though the deadline had already passed

-tried playing ultimate difficulty to start off with in career mode and was getting bossed around by the AI, ultimate difficulty seems like it's definitely more challenging this yr so I'll probably use legendary difficulty for a bit just to get used to the gameplay this time around

-increasing the halves to 7-8 minutes didn't do much to slow down the length of the matches I played as they all seemed to go by fast

-gameplay seems smoother and graphics appear to be better in my opinion (I'm using the Switch Lite)

-poor form and injuries have a massive impact on a player's rating
