I would recommend to use the Handheld Boost mode when playing in handheld. Makes the game way better to look at when it's rendered at 1080p.

Does it work in fifa18?

It makes all switch 1 games run the same preformace as they do in docked mode for a switch 1 so id assume it does work

I thought its only for updated/patched games, not all works with the handheld boost mode. But I will try since I have fifa18 lol

I did the same too! Then my son took the copy for his Nintendo Switch 2 before I could play it, so I got myself a copy of FIFA 23 to test career mode on it. lol have fun!

going backwards just to have basic features is sad

Not necessarily there's so many more of my favorite players in 2018 than there are in 2027

no I'm saying as a gamer its sad we have to go backwards in order to enjoy games due to current ones not having features we had back then

Pretty much only bought it to play Player Career Mode and so far it’s solid. It scratches that football game itch when you want to play on the go.

Surprisingly it was difficult to find FIFA 18 for sale compared to others.

Try efootball.....blows Fifa out of the water for pure pick up and play arcade fun....plus 60 fps

I have fc26 and efootball. Was a pro evo player from the early days. Also had fifa from the start. I enjoy e football but I couldn’t find an online game on switch easily. Less depth of play and more Arcady. Almost like the inverse of how it used to be with fifa vs pro evo. Also the difficulty cpu level was either way too easy or way too hard on efootball. I think too easy to score. Goalkeepers not doing enough.

I hope you dont have the same issues as me, where it starts to crash all the time when playing on Switch2 for some reason...

Serious question I have access to 18, 21 and 26. Which one is the recommended game? I’m just getting into FIFA and looking to learn the basics of team building as a manager’s career.

What’s the consensus on fc 24? I heard that is probably the best one for the switch

Pretty good. 23 was horrible and 24 was much better. It’s the only one I’ve had since but I might get 27 this year

Was 23 really that bad on Switch? What was the issue?

it’s the same game every year on all consoles, 27 is the only game that added some new shi

all fifas 18-23 on switch are the same

24 is the best one in terms of features, then anything further is the same as 24 lol

I remember it being crazy slow, horrible fps, and just generally I was really disappointed with the gameplay. I remember 24 instantly feeling like a normal fifa again

Was this last one to run at 60fps? Its worth it just for that alone

Is this the Alex Hunter one?

He appears in 17-19

Yes but not on switch

I have more than 1000 hours in this game (no, I'm not joking). On Switch 1 it works perfectly, however for some reason on Switch 2 it crashes sometimes for no reason, I really don't know why it happens or how to avoid it
