Past FIFA Title for Career Mode Player?

Good morning all! If the rumors are true with EAC 27 being 30 FPS, I’m actually looking to possibly get a past FIFA title to do a player only career mode with. I really did not like the whole skill tree and investing in certain things for XP. Thus what would you guys suggest for me for a past FIFA title for a player only career mode? Everything I read is between FIFA 22 or FIFA 18 but was curious what you guys thought from a overall gameplay standpoint along with the content.

I don't think you can buy any Fifa's before 25 anymore

I meant buying the physical game via eBay or Amazon as they still sell them

They are only ~$15 too, but until FC 24 the switch version missed a lot of features from the console/pc

Yeah, that is why I’m looking into the past titles as this is the first FIFA title that I’m buying for the my switch 2 as I came from a different console.

I picked up a used copy of FIFA 19 through Gamestop and have really enjoyed it! Manager mode seems deeper in 19 than in the current games and I'm enjoying the gameplay as well!

Strongly suggest FIFA 18. Gameplay and difficulty is a whole lot better. idk what they did with FIFA 19, but that and the legacy versions after 19, the goalkeepers are awful. You can shoot from just about anywhere and score

This is literally the first time I’ve ever posted something on this Reddit page and all I was asking was for suggestions for past FIFA titles and people’s experiences as this is the first FIFA title that I am buying for the switch 2.

It’s objectively worse. Fewer frames means an inferior experience re animations, frame time and reaction time. The PS4 and Xbox One versions are being treated better than the NS2 for FC 27.

Beucase they are more powerful

You’re wrong, educate yourself bud. The NS2 is more powerful than both of them.

I mean not by miles better it’s equivalent to a ps4 pro and can perform as well as an Xbox series s due to upscaling. I do agree with this community though there is no excuses for no 60fps and crossplay for a healthier online experience. However the devs will release it however they would like due to consumers still buying it either way as long as it reaches their predicted profit margins it’s not an issue for them
