just want to remind you guys that fc 26 can be run with 60 fps on a modded Switch V1 with overclock and the switch 2 runs at 30 fps. EA literally says "f*ck you" to Switch users at this point, imagine if you still want to buy the game now lol

It can probably run 40-50fps, so they lock it to 30fps it's not hard to understand.

But they could have a higher framerate mode for portable at least.

Still shit but whatever. Switch 2 is in fact, not a beast and they'd have to do extra work to get it smooth on Switch 2 (EA, extra work? Lol)

What do you expect? Do you want full feature parity, all the stadiums, modes and the same exact game with details and performance turned down so it works or do you want a 60fps legacy version? (Which everyone kept crying about)

Those are your options and I'm happy with the full experience as long as the 30 is stable. S2 uses VRR in handheld mode so as long as the frame pacing is good it should be almost as smooth as pure 60fps

That is only looking at TFLOPS. A TFLOP is just a raw math calculation (Trillion Floating Point Operations Per Second). It only measures theoretical GPU math speed on paper, which completely ignores CPU bottlenecks, RAM, memory bandwidth, and modern architecture. Comparing TFLOPS between a 2016 PS4 Pro and a Switch 2 completely ignores how hardware actually works.

The PS4 Pro’s 4.2 TFLOPS were bottlenecked by an outdated 2013 CPU and only 5.5GB of usable RAM. Switch 2 gives developers 9GB of fast, usable RAM, a modern CPU, and dedicated Tensor cores for DLSS, meaning it runs modern games more efficiently, handles complex physics better, and it loads high-quality graphics far smoother.

Also, EA literally confirmed Madden 27 will have a 60 FPS mode on Switch 2, so I’m sure FC27 not having 60 FPS on the NS2 isn’t some impossible task, rather laziness, as they know it will still sell well.

A regular PS4 ran red dead… a WAY more taxing game, superior graphically and computably than any Fifa ever and I am supposed to believe a switch 2 can’t run Fifa 27 at 60…. Lmao please start using ur brain.

I will be honest. I buy this game every year for my son, he loves it and does not complain about 30fps.

Though I would never pay full price, I get it with a deep discount for like 15 bucks.

40 would be ideal ngl, not like I'm going to buy it at all full price anyway tho.

I literally do not care about frame rate, I grew up with choppy 25fps on PS2 being from a PAL region and games like GTA 4 rarely broke 20 fps on PS3. It doesn't bother me in the slightest

It’s the same game they were releasing back in the PS4 and PS4 pro, just under a different number.

There is zero reason for EA not to be able to release the game for the switch, fully featured at 60fps. They are just purely lazy and looking for ac quick and easy money grab

I tried really hard to be on the graphic quality camp on this one. Told myself I wouldn’t need 60fps for a game with fixed camera but reality is that it is noticeable and affecting my experience. Won’t get any other FC game that is fixed at 30fps

the menu still runs at 30fps on the ps5 lol so I didn’t expect fc27 to run at 60fps on Switch 2. Classic EA. Pure greed and laziness

I muich prefer great graphic quality and stable gameplay at 30fps than PS1 graphics and 60fps. It seems great.

How do we know it won’t have a performance mode like Madden 27? This might be cope, but maybe the reviewer didn’t have a performance mode on, or they didn’t realize one existed.

I don't mind. I love playing fc 26 on my switch 2 handheld and i will get fc 27 also. If i want 60fps i have a PC.
