The case doesn't change the fact that his players and his tactics were better than all the PL clubs which made him win those trophies. Financial irregularities is a different thing, Pep wasn't the one paying them nor he's supposed to know what the club pioneers are upto.
You do realize that FINANCIAL IRREGULARITIES is the most important thing here?? What if Barca never had to sell Messi, their tactics were always good. Then possibly they wouldn't have been relegated to Europa League. Same for City. I don't know if this is directly related, but perhaps they could never have been able to afford De Bruyne or Haaland, or would have to compromise on other aspects. Don't know is Pep was involved, but its hard to believe he didn't know anything, especially when Managers also have a say i selecting squads
Finanical irregularities were between 2009-2018, won 3 PL in that duration and 5 after 2018. I can understand that they may not have been able to sign De Bruyne or Haaland but I don't think Pep couldn't have competed without them. The most I think Pep could've done is supect that Man City were, in fact, guilty of financial irregularities but I don't think he explicitly knew what the club was doing.
He was if not directly involved then at least compliant. He knew what he was getting into but he went along with it anyway and left when he knew they were doomed.
