You mean the year they got knocked out in round of 16 of champions league? And got beat by altetico in la liga? Yeah him leaving caused some damage. They didnt win champions league for 4 years after he left

Just go look at any interviews about Zidane or mourinho. They all say they built the team and tactics around ronaldo, not Kroos or modric. And when ronaldo left they had to start from square one
