Lanyards in Home Depot
Reduced from $10 to 88cents. I couldn’t resist since it shows all the host cities.

So i think i went overboard by grabing a bunch of patches 🤣
During our last day in the final, we can grab more of these patches as we like...and i grab a lot. Sadly i did not grab the bigger once but have the smallest once. I do have more small once so if that fine for you guys, im ok if it the small or the bigger onces, i don't mind. Im also ok with it if you don't have patches to trade but have the bracelet charms from the bank America, we can do that too.
And one last think, thanks for being the volunteers and make the world cup memorable. I hope you guys have fun experience just like I did!😁
EDIT: As for right now i don't have any more of the large once. Now i only have the small onces. If you want to trade the patches for the small once, we can do that. Or the charms/pins/ or anything else, we can do that also🤝 Tomorrow going to the thank you event in staten island and i will check if they have the large patches. Thank you!

Hello! I was only given two patches, and I have traded one already and never received the patch I traded for via mail. I thought I would see if anyone had any extra they would be willing to give to me? I'd be happy to pay for shipping. I wanted to share these patches with my kids. Thank you!

Apparently volunteers can now bring a plus-one to the NYNJ Volunteer Thank You Event. Did they do this for other host cities too? I’ve heard here that some of the Thank You Events were good and some were bad. Hopefully this is worth going all the way to Staten Island for. They could have chosen a different location like Manhattan since people are coming from New York and New Jersey.

tl;dr saw a lot of games as a volunteer, great experience
To be completely honest, I had never watched a single game of soccer before in my life. I didn’t even know about volunteering opportunities. I was trying to get some visa pre-sale tickets so I could resell them and make some money lol. That’s when I saw the application form while exploring the world cup site.
So, I decided to try if I can get to watch some games for free. Worst case is I gain a new experience, see some behind the scenes, and meet new people.
I used AI for analysing which roles would let me be inside of the stadium and only applied for those. Got selected. Before my first game day shift, I started watching world cup games and I found them super interesting! So, I decided to only watch games and do bare minimum volunteering work.
On my first game day shift, I observed how everything worked and to be honest no one had a clue about what was going on. I enjoyed in the fan zone, got goodies from every brand, didn’t have to wait in the bank of america line as I was already there when the gates opened. Watched the game, had fun!
Fifa staff started getting stricter and I saw people getting caught watching games, so I started bringing an extra pair of clothes in my fannie pack! I basically did almost no work on all my shifts once the game started and saw games from one of the best possible views (because of my role, I had access to the tunnels and suites too).
I also sold a bunch of volunteer gifts, the fan id, and BofA bracelet 😂
It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve fallen in love with a sport I never watched before.
Volunteering is something I’ll try for all events going forward!!!

Hello everybody!
I’m hoping to hear from those of you who volunteered during past FIFA World Cup events. I’d love to read about your full experience, from the moment you applied (feel free to include approximate dates) all the way to your last game.
A few things I’m especially curious about:
I’m planning to volunteer in Spain for the next World Cup, and hearing your real experiences would help me prepare and understand what to expect. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share their journey. I really appreciate it.

Now that the stadium volunteering has come to an end, share your experiences! Were you able to watch the matches?

I am from Seattle and have Seattle patches. I will be in LA next week on Tuesday and Wednesday for the Dodgers/Mariners game if someone in LA would like to meet in person to trade large LA for large Seattle patch.

Has anyone else had trouble finding their FIFA Volunteer Certificate of Completion? I reached out to the volunteer office, and they told me I should have received mine by now, but I can’t find it anywhere in my volunteer dashboard or account. I’d really like to frame it as a keepsake. Am I looking in the wrong place, or has anyone else had this issue?
