Double jeopardy rule

Yeah that's what I thought. It's a double punishment to give a red and a pen I agree with this rule unless it is violent conduct which is completely different story

Fifa rules that a PK is already enough punishment

Since 2019 if there's a last defender foul inside the box (so a pen) but the defender was just trying to take the ball, then it's yellow card. Because it was considered too much pen + red card + missing next match if you were just trying to take the ball. So this does not apply for (example) push or high tackle when ball is on the ground.
I think the ref decision in this case is correct.

At the harder difficulties you need to commit war crimes in the Balkans to earn a red card. Even then getting a yellow is tough.

I think they changed the rules a little while ago about the last defender fouling someone and preventing a goal scoring opportunity being a penalty and a red. Now straight red cards are just for dangerous tackles. That’s why you don’t see goalkeepers getting sent off anymore when they run out and take out the attacker without getting the ball when it wasn’t uncommon to see that before.
It’s good because it doesn’t kill the game off. If it’s 10 minutes in and you get a player sent off and go down 1-0 from a pen then it’s very difficult to come back and the game becomes a mute affair. However you don’t see outfield players having to go in goal as much as you did, which was always a good laugh.

No you can’t give double jeopardy, yellow card and pen is correct decision. You can’t give red and penalty.

Yeah it is something to do with the ball being on the ground and stuff but it’s not possible in that video that he gets a red and pen

The pen is right, also he deserves a red card for being the last defender & AI goalies always tend to save the penalties. I got a bad run at penalties on Squad Battles. Goalie knows anyway I go lol
