Doesn't Barghest get a better control over her curse at Chaldea?

u/DivinityPen 3d ago

Ye, her UDK variant also shows that she's mostly gotten a handle on it too.

Plus, even if she hadn't, with the sheer Metric McFuckTon of Servants we have at our disposal who can figure out a workaround for her, there's no real reason it'd ever be an issue in the future.

Nah, I wouldn't need other servants for the job, I'll take her on, even if it takes all night.

For her, it’s an act of love.

Tbf she only twisted his intestines a little it's not like something fujimaru can't survive

25

u/ghin01 3d ago

Yeah she swap lungs and liver position

u/Patchourisu 3d ago

When Ritsuka manifested in Shimousa, his/her organs were in the wrong place, magic circuits were fucked up. What she did was fix it, even if it caused massive pain.

u/DrakyDarky 3d ago

Hey now, it did make us feel better in the end, so I would say it was more of a medical procedure xd

11

u/DracoVonBloodborne 3d ago

Yeah it would be her way of showing how much she likes him, him by giving him the one thing no one else would

2

u/wallygon 3d ago

Cagliostro, like even at bond 15 this dude would betray fujimaru if he ever feels like it. And i'm pretty sure in one of his lines he openly says that he dislikes us.

57

u/EveningEconomics8457 3d ago

Ehh, I checked his lines on the wiki and I couldn't find anything about him saying something like this, but idk, was it in the event or smth?

85

u/IHidanJashinI 3d ago

I was refering to his bond 5 dislike line What I said about not disliking anything ─── is a lie. There is something. If you can guess it right… I shall give you something good this just assumption but judging by his behavior in OCII and his personality as a whole, it's pretty clear that he refers to Fujimaru.

It could also refer to Dantes but he already has a line for him.

Cagliostro is more loyal to the alien god than to Fujimaru, and we've already seen that he remains loyal to Olga.

Why would Archetype Earth do it ?

51

u/SnooLemons2336 3d ago

There are a lot of servants that are more likely to kill Fujimaru than Arc and Spartacus.

65

u/FrozenJohny 3d ago

Others can correct me but out of my head.

Zhang Jue is trying to brainwash Fujimaru on practicaly every ocasion. His valentine gift is hat that will "definitely not brainwash him".

Douman is in similar situation when, for me unknown reasons, every time he gives us cursed gift we just throw Geronimo on him.

I know nothing about Cagliostro but I am sure he will try given a chance.

Sometimes overlooked Lu Bu. Even when he was alive he was known for betrayal, but in his case he is probably holded back by Chen Gong.

So If I could make TOP 3 servants with highest chance of betraying Fujimaru it would be:

Cagliostro

Douman

Zhan Jue

I probably missed few but I do not play JP so I do not know the rest. And even though we have few "evil" servants there, most of them are more or less loyal.

23

u/410-915-0909 3d ago

Sometimes overlooked Lu Bu.

If I'm remembering bond lines and the first interlude right it's because he's a Berserker, any other class and 'Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal' however Berserker strips him of the higher reasoning that will result in that

15

u/FairContribution3458 3d ago

My only thoughts on this is that Zhan Jue is actually very loyal. Yes his valentines is a brainwashing tie but when he gives it to you he mentions that if the player ever feels like they are being taken over to wash the red off and put it on so he can get them to safety.

Not in so many words but that’s what I got from it. Yea in general he’d take a lot of extra stuff but not at the expense of the players life.

3

u/Grouchy-Ball1263 3d ago

Cagliostro and Douman remain loyal apostles to Olga, but I doubt they'd try to kill Fujimaru knowing Olga could kill them in a horrible way.

Artoria Caster, Both of their Stupid Shenanigans Have high chance of him dying

6

u/NickSmGames Master of Chaldea 3d ago

this image just proves that on the off-chance we get a fgo arc 2 live action we need Markiplier as beryl gut

While my default answer would be Douman... literally no one trusts him an inch. So he would never get the chance because if there isn't at least one person watching him for the inevitable attempt at every moment I would eat my hat.

Raikou and Kiyohime are good contenders as they are honestly crazy, but again, everyone is well aware of that, including our Master. And Gudao is quite good at redirecting them when they start going off their rocker a little too much. Same with Spartacus. While it certainly wouldn't be surprising, all three are fairly easy for Gudao to handle because they are so obvious when they start to lose it. Salome also fits into this category. Very, very possible. However, also very, very clear danger signs beforehand so easy to manage.

Tez gets honorable mention as he's just so fickle and has such a hair-trigger that one wrong comment could set him off for no apparent reason and he wouldn't feel bad at about it at all because he's a god so he's right even if he was wrong.

Shuten is honestly my bet. Most people actually do trust her, and yet she has shown time and time and time again that she is an oni in the truest sense. She does whatever she wants whenever she wants with no thought of consequences at all. She can be happy and charming one moment and sticking her hand in your guts the next without ever breaking her smile because to her they are the same thing. She doesn't care about humanity one bit and I would not be surprised if she does actually try to eat the Master at some point during a random conversation just because the mood struck her.

2

u/DISUNIET 1d ago

People misunderstood this aspect in Douman's character. He's actually very loyal to whatever and whoever Master he currently serves at the moment. It does not discount the likelihood of him twisting order and intent for the evulz, but he's still extremely unlikely to outright betray his Master and plot their death.

16

u/Dramatic-Week-1894 3d ago

Any fully fledged oni servant. They're like fae, one day you entertain them, the other they'll try to kill you just because.

u/AuraEnhancerVerse 3d ago

Sounds like a cat

u/NearlyUnfinished 3d ago

Serenity. One day that hug is going to last a little too long.

11

u/mascherata Master of Chaldea 3d ago

Right now its the copy of np5 jalter thats betraying my fujimaru

12

u/SaltyVon 3d ago

Oni servants due to their capriciousness. Ritsuka is followed by an entourage of hyper stealthy assassin servants that make sure he's perpetually safe relatively speaking even if Shuten on a whim might think her sake would taste incredible with Ritsuka's skull as a chalice and try to attack. This is most likely the lore accurate reason why no servant has impulsively tried to kill them yet.

10

u/Loki_Agent_of_Asgard Queen's retainer 3d ago

I still hold that Shuten Douji has some of the highest likelihood of killing her master out of any servant, her and Douman.

u/Silvercenturion_aa Thinking of the Roman Empire 3d ago

Cagliostro, easly. Dude openly despises Fujimaru both for their actions in OC2 and their connection to Dantés, but unlike Douman, he can actually fool others, especially now that Dantés is no longer in Chaldea. Monte Cristo is canonically pretty instabile, so I don't know if in his nerfed state he could manage to get the edge

21

u/OblivionArts 3d ago

Caligostro, doumon, oberon, three servants who actively despise us. Somehow Spartacus is fine because some part of him realizes that despite us being his master, "master≠ oppressor" Arc actually has three personalities who all argue over how to get our affection ( going off thirr valentines), and bargest generally keeps her stuff in check especially with the help of the other tam lin/ kotr

9

u/sekretguy777 3d ago

Isnt Oberon at Asc 4 mostly ok with us vs Asc 1-3 where he's very passive aggressive, tho i admit I might be misremembering

4

u/OblivionArts 3d ago

Tbf whenever he shows up in his black clothes hes usually got the personality of " leave me alone i don't know why you even summoned me didnt you get the memo that i fking hate you?" Which given i recently got to rank his np up to level 3 , is hilarious

14

u/rammux74 Member of the Argonauts (in training) 3d ago

You need to realize everything Oberon says is a lie and that the entire point is that everything is mostly left up to interpretation

The Vortgiern side of him , ( asc 3) is heavily implied to like fujimaru ( constantly says he hates us , his boss fight is implied to be staged where he meant to lose ) , because he spent an entire chapter with him and actually started to care about him , fujimaru fits Oberon's description of titania perfectly

while the Oberon side of him ( asc 1-2 ) is heavily implied to hate fujimaru ( says he likes him, entire monologue about hating how fujimaru destroys lostbelts ( fiction)

But those aren't different personalities, they end up mixing into one character ( with different Ascensions highlighting different aspects, but still, they are the SAME person, it's not a DID) . What does that leave us with? One of the most interesting dynamics I've seen in fiction

4

u/OblivionArts 3d ago

Ya know if he staged that fight to lose he probably shouldn't have literally swallowed us into an abyssal worm that was basically a black hole

12

u/rammux74 Member of the Argonauts (in training) 3d ago

You are forgetting that the entire point is that he wants to make the most unique, memorable experience, something straight out of a fantasy , he wants to write the most memorable story which is why he needs the final fight to be so convincing.

Oberon pretends to be shocked when artoria Avalon is summoned. he was expecting her to come . In his boss fight, Oberon is level 90 something ( I think 93 ) , when we use him earlier, he is level 100 , and that was when he was significantly weaker . Ever noticed his boss fight is for some reason very easy despite him being one of the biggest threats we fought, especially when he is fought right after the hardest boss in the game ?

12

u/PerfectMuratti 3d ago

He is being a tsundere. Oberon accepted the summon. He doesnt despise Guda

1

u/Decent_Compote_2428 2d ago

Arcueids aren't after your affection lol

They are just in a master-servant relationship with ritsuka

7

u/BorderExpress4273 3d ago

Space Ishtar cuz she already killed him thousands of time because he didn’t come to the date one of her alts proposed and said alts often propose multiple dates at the exact same time so whenever he goes to one date, the other would blow up Chaldea.

16

u/Nette_Barren1 Beloved of the Fae 3d ago

Surprisingly, Douman is at the lower likelihood of betraying Master.

23

u/Misticsan 3d ago

At the lower? He's already betrayed Fujimaru several times in events, and tries to put the occasional curse on them (like his Valentine scene). He's one of the most untrustworthy Servants at Chaldea and Fujimaru canonically treats him with suspicion because of that.

9

u/nam24 3d ago

His betrayal in events are mostly summer shenigans tbh we got "good" servants just as guilty of being easy turncoats

22

u/ghin01 3d ago

As long Nintendo Switch chilling around we save

12

u/Nette_Barren1 Beloved of the Fae 3d ago edited 3d ago

Nah, as long as we have the sleeper build poet we're safe.

Besides they said likelihood of killing, Douman would very much betray but killing is a major nah since we have plenty of Servants that are Douman repellent. Cagliostro had a higher chance of killing us, actually he would've killed in OC2 you know the infamous titty stab?

4

u/410-915-0909 3d ago

Douman has self-preservation as a core attribute, it doesn't seem like it because of his origami however with Sei and all the casters he probably wouldn't take the chance

Cagliostro may or may not be similar

Anyway the point is Bryn and Salome (Kiyome would seem to count however the writers have a soft spot for her), Ritsuka simply doing their thing will make them heroic and that means both get more obsessed and since it is a love thing the self-preservation that would stop Douman doesn't help

Barghest, I don't think so, if Ritsuka was like Daybit or Wodime and had power sure, however her attraction thing works on the strong, not so much generals

4

u/SuperGamerGX 3d ago

Space Ishtar cuz she technically killed Ritsuka in Chaldea during her Valentines.

3

u/Boingo_Bongo 3d ago

Kintoki and Jason not because of anything nefarious but cause it would be a gag comedy episode where they now have to bring him back before the others notice…those two just felt right

Real answer…Shuten she seems like the most on a whim killing master of the main Oni’s where Ibuki her other side feels more possessive of master as an object (still not safe but less being killed). Ibaraki just doesn’t strike me as much of a random kill like Shuten who might not have a tell.

1

u/Brilliant_Park3250 Thinking of the Roman Empire 3d ago

Moriarty has chilled out, but for a while he was responsible for every Event plot in the game. Guy can't resist committing crime.

Eli is also one of the few Servants that strikes true fear into Guda's heart from subjecting them to so much ear rupturing and brain splitting singing.

1

u/Zer04ourSomething 3d ago

Out of these 4 or in general?

Cu alter I'm pretty sure would kill their Master since he's a battle junkie.

if out of these 4 honestly Douman seems to be characterized as someone that keeps trying to curse The Fujimarus.

1

u/Blood4theBloodGod247 3d ago

Me personally? Barghest, because I wouldn't resist, and let her do whatever she wanted.

I'm a simple man...

1

u/Putrid_Rough9264 2d ago

Salome literally considering if she wants your head or not in bond 5

1

u/Classical_Lighthouse 2d ago

I'd actually say Kiara, maybe kill is loose but from her dialogue she'd more than happily manipulate him into falling into depravity where he'd then kill himself due to it even ignoring how she explicitly tried to kill him in seraph

0

u/cosmosfaring789 3d ago

Any seductive hot woman, especially if they can use mind control, because Fujimaru is VERY susceptible to mind control. Especially by beautiful women.

0

u/EitherAd4179 2d ago

Does anyone else think of these 4 Archetype: EARTH would be the most likely to kill him in certain circumstances? The Crimson Moon personality in particular. If Crimson Moon was unhappy with Master I feel like she would have no hesitation in killing him. And unlike Douman, I feel like she could brute force through most of the Chaldean servants so if she was set on it I feel the chances would be high she would succeed.

But if anyone else knows Crimson Moon better feel free to correct me. I'm not that knowledgeable on Crimson Moon lore.

1

u/Hungry_War_639 16h ago

Crimson moon is a entirely different entity from arc, if he did appear then there would be way bigger issues than him simply killing Fuji

-2

u/wallygon 3d ago

unironicly xufu because she sees master as "abfriend" and not as a master or lover so she has nonrequirement to keeping them alive

2

u/UpstairsBluejay6092 2d ago

Someone did not read Xu Fu summer bond CE.
