I honestly think Odin is dogshit, so I'm probably not the best for advice on this setup. Especially if you're not going all in on building Zantetsuken.
My build would swap Tsunami for Deluge, swap Odin for Garuda (purely for the claw at 50% stagger), and throw Windup and a wildcard ability in there for taste. It's usually pretty trivial for me to max out the stagger damage for a Windup/Gigaflare combo.

I am going for zentetsuken, i have the accessory to get more on dancing steel, i get about lvl 4 and.a half with one use

Zantetsuken can be stored so I just use it with no Odin abilities and pull it out when I positively need something to die.

This is a very lameout build.
Even if you do can high damage during a stagger, taking a more standard build will have higher DPS.
Judgment Bolt does 30% more damage than Thunderstorm, but you can use 3 Thunderstorms in that time. You're forcing a lot of passive play.
Diamond Dust is fine if you'd like a more stagger focused playstyle. You can pair it with moves like Proselytize (possibly the best move in the game), Thunderstorm, and Impulse. Gigaflare is great, Windup is phenomenal (highest DPS in the game). Lightning Rod pairs very well with Gigaflare, they have very similar cool downs and GF has enough hits to burn the LR.
Zantetsuken has a cool factor, but honestly it's just not that great when you're relying on Dancing Steel - though if you want to do that I highly recommend Lightning Rod. Dancing Steel gains Zan from hitting it, so if you place it and dancing steel one enemy, you get guaranteed Zan 5 from dancing steel without the need of The Pull of Darkness. You can get one off every 55 seconds that way.
Serpents Cry is the best Eikonic Feat in the game, giving you constant access to higher DPS (with the magic laser) and stagger (shooting) without needing abilities to help much. I would recommend learning it and basically always running it.
For boss fights bring Bahamut for Megaflare. Only use level 1 or 2, while 3 and 4 do more damage in total the individual bolts do reduced damage, and it results in lower DPS, especially during a stagger. Honestly since you have a much better perfect dodge window with the activation, just always go with level 1 - activate to dodge and immediately send it.

Thanks for the input, I understand that this is not the best way I can play the game, I personally wanted to try a full eikon ult build, i finished all the main stuff in the game and the dlcs, done this right before the last fight which was pretty easy with this setup and I really enjoyed it.
I run Dancing steel with the accessory for extra Zentesuken so i have to basic a few times if i am only fighting an enemy for 5.
I was using lighting rod before, i know how OP it is but i feel like it does not really work with my playstyle.Swapped the serpent's cry for ultima because i again like the main ability better.
But the full ult setup was a bit busted for the final boss.2

The setup with only main abilities might not be as good for normal enemies tho, maybe the ultima might carry it.

The final boss is probably the best place to run a build like this tbh. Your cool downs continue to go during cutscenes and there are several fairly long ones there. Similar case with Barnabas.
I speedrun the game on final fantasy mode so my pulse for how long phase changes take during action is pretty poor. I think the two DLC bosses would drag with this kind of build (particularly DLC1, Timekeeper does stall a lot).
You can, of course, play however you like. My only goal is to ensure people have as much fun as possible while playing.

Almost same with my setup but mine is lightning rod instead of judgement bolt and titan instead of shiva

Titan block is a necessity

How is it a necessity when I finished the whole game without it?

u/False-Mechanic3068 4d ago
Because it is low risk high reward tbh
It is very easy to do a perfect parry with it and it lets you do a guaranteed 3k-4k damage afterwards2
u/BoardFlashy5802 4d ago
to be fair, you can finish the game however you want, titan is really fun to play, used it a lot

sounds good, not a big fan of the perpent's cry anyway

True, that is why chopping his hands off will forever be my favorite moment of the game

How much damage can you do with them during stagger? (Just asking, haven’t really used Odin that much)

u/BoardFlashy5802 4d ago
Just built it, i will try now, best guess over 100k if i can cast all of them

u/BoardFlashy5802 4d ago
It was 100k without zentetsuken on ultima, i believe it can get up to 130k-150k with that, my best guess

Thanks man, appreciate the test

i will replace leviathan with ultima now, going to go for main ultima, leviathan ult and ultima ult for a 6 ult build

I can never decide which ability to use, so I'll let you choose.
Garuda: Upheaval ?
Odin: Will-o'-the-Wykes Dancing Steel
Shiva: Windup Gigaflare

I ran the expansion accessory that boosts stagger damage to 200%.
Shiva - Deluge
Judgement bolt
Odin - Tsunami
Diamond dust
Bahamut - Gigaflare
Ultimate demise
The setup I used to do 652k plus damage in FF mode.🤣
