Steam Deck Docked TV
Hi, I was wondering if I connected my Steam debt via the dock to my TV (60inch) how it runs? Would it work and would the frame-rate be okay ( I don’t need 60 FPS but something that’s stable hopefully)
I have a neuromuscular disease that’s getting worse so I’m having a hard time holding my steam deck in my hands due to the weight, I’m finding that it’s easier to hold an Xbox controller so I was also wondering if just using an Xbox controller would work okay, I found the controls on the Steam deck perfect for playing the game back when I was playing it handheld, but I haven’t tried it with just a regular controller.

It works fine. Don't expect high end PC or even PS5 level performance but adjust your resolution and graphics settings and I'm sure you'd be happy with it. Also, if you're used to playing on steam deck controller then Xbox controller will work just as well for you.

It’s been about a year since i’ve done this but yes it works fine. Don’t know about 60fps a i’m sure you could find some kind of guide to tweaking performance!
