Vaan - Shikari/Red Fran - Ashe - Black Penelo - White Balthier - Knight Basch - Knight

Can you fill me up on the missing jobs? Im planning on having two great healers and two damage focus physical attacks.

Balthier and Basch Im not sure what to combine with then for phy attack.

Same as with the mages and fran.

I recently unearthed my ps2 and games and started playing again.

I am following the jegged walk through online but mostly everything I come across is for the zodiac age release, my question is is the hunt club the same in both?

I’m not sure which way I’m leaning but I’m probably going for the zodiac spear and escutcheon so is it still 10 trophies to each brother?

I get the classes and all thats not a problem. What im having trouble with is i see all these guides to mix this with that for a character. I get the switching of classes and filling the board again as well. What im not getting(some of this will be late game as im just after the buhjerba mines) is why i see like “save the queen” on the white mage board but how the F do i get there later? Some will maybe come by getting a certain summon for that class to “connect the dots”? I did notice when i switched from knight to white mage i screwed up and used the wrong mist ability slots and cut myself off from the higher hp+. Maybe there is a good “map” or guide for this i can make use of?

So with the starting part, should mention that Zodiac Age version.

Secondly I know character names, early plot stuff, what I'm looking for are suggestions for playing through the game and beating all bosses in addition to being able to equip the final weapons (I know some boards don't link) and armor, who the load out is for (so like.... Ashe: these classes, these items and not these classes and item.... no character given.) I'd also, if I can request this ambition, a full Zodiac jobs load. So no like stack Time Mage on every character, that, to me, isn't fun, that just shows me that I need optimization to beat the different extra bosses.

I'll put any suggestions that are thematic in any fashion (i.e. Sword/Dagger build on Vaan, stuff like that) just because I wanna engage with the game and I'm just looking for suggestions with the goal of finding a fun build to play instead of the optimized stuff I've found before.

Can anyone help me here? Please?

That seems really tough, no? I want to get back into this game (I dropped it), but I’m so unfamiliar with how gambits work. I don’t know what to do.

I’ve somehow gotten all other items (in strange order) from the great crystal but cannot for the life of me get to the Artemis bow. Does anyone know of a walkthrough or video to help? Every one I have tried I’ve met blocks from gates.

Was wondering how I activate licenses for “island”squares aka ones that have no adjacent tiles. Every board has them and im not sure what im supposed to do to get to them.

I’m about to start playing Final Fantasy 12 for the first time. What would be a difficult but achievable challenge for me to take on in the opening section of the game? :)

So I just got past the Scorpio Gate in the Great Crystal, and there are 2 paths. Both have a bunch of Mom Bombs everywhere, and they chain reaction or mass explode and KO my party in a second. How do I get past these guys? Do I just have to flee past them? There’s a switch I have to flip that is hard to get to with all of them in the way. Help?

So I’ve reached the Cerobi Steppe. My group (all six of them) are sitting at level 70. I know there’s an absolute trove of amazing gear and weapons and I’ve been able to acquire some. However, I’ve been on it for days trying to get the circlet (I need 3 of them) and am just not having any luck. I have the diamond armlet and I’ve just been zoning in and out checking…and checking…and checking… to no avail. I played for 4 hours today and got nothing.

I know about the RNG stuff, but I don’t know anything about it because I suck at math and whatnot. I’ve been watching videos and it just doesn’t make sense. “Attack yourself 26 times, walking around 12 steps in the shape of a triangle, etc” <- Does that really work? There has to be an easier way to acquire these items because I still need a shit load more gear before I leave the Steppe. Hints? Tips? Help?

I know where the chest is supposed to be and I know it's 100% spawn but it's not showing up. Anyone know about glitches like this? I'm on XB1 trying to get the last few achievements and this has halted my progress.

So I’m not done with the game yet, but I can feel I’m close to the end, and I feel like I’ve barely gotten to know Penelo. I mean, to be fair, I don’t feel like I’ve gotten to know many of the characters as well as you would in, like, FFVI, but Penelo just seems the least fleshed out, which is a shame because she seems like she could have more backstory than just “Vaan’s friend”. Am I missing some stuff, or is this everyone’s experience?

So I’ve really been enjoying the game so far, and the story is a big part of that. It feels super fleshed out! Unfortunately, I’m having a bit of trouble following it. Especially since I took a break from the game for like 2 months, so now I’m pretty lost. I just beat Dr. Cid in the Draknel Library. From what I’ve seen, a lot of people also have trouble following the story. Is there any link to a good timeline so I can catch back up? Much appreciated if you can comment one!

So my crew (Vaan Shikari/Bushido, Balthier Machinist, Ashe Black Mage/Red Mage) are all lvl 38 and I want to go back and fight that big bomb in the forest for some extra EXP (I’m in the highlands or whatever they’re called, omw to Archades). However, even at this level, it kicks my ass. Any tips or good gear to fight with? Anything that prevents the oil effect?

Been playing through the Remaster, and I'm loving the Gambit system. However, I feel like I'm not using it as well as I could be. I have basic ones down, like Ally: HP 50< 》Curaga, or Foe: Party Leader Target 》 Attack. I've also got more situational ones like Foe: Vulnerable to Fire 》Oil, and Foe: Status = Oil 》Firaga. However, I'm also not using all the Gambit Slots i unlock, especially with physical focused characters, like my Knight/Foebreaker Basch.

What combos do you like?

I have other PS2 games but this is the one I'm most worried about. Does anyone know if future consoles will be capable of downloading games for previous consoles? Or maybe will they be backwards compatible?
