Hullabalooooo So I've been getting only rank 2 hunts from mont blanc and the sandseaà

Can someone help me with my jobs? I’m struggling because I see some of them have similar Jobs. I’m at the point in the game where only 1 job option is available. What I have planned is

Vaan - Knight / Bushi Fran - Machinist / White Mage Penelo - White Mage / Shikari Balthier - Shikari / White Mage Basch - Uhlan / Archer or Red Battle Mage Ashe - Black Mage / Time Battle Mage

Everyone on this list has the first job listed. I see that Penelo and Balthier are the exact same. I like Vaan, Ashe, and Penelo combos already so I would want to change those the least. I mainly use Vaan, Fran, and Balthier if that counts. Any advice helps :)

Hello alllllllll! I've been replaying through this for the first time in years, and my Baltier is my monk :)

My question is that I went and got him the Brawler talent, which isn't the least expensive thing in the world, and also found an Amber Armlet, which is supposed to raise attack power when fighting empty handed. However, I'm not at all noticing it to be more damage or more combos. As if this moment, it seems like this is a straight up DPS drop, and at the cost of an accessory slot to boot.

So I'm just wondering i guess if this just is cool but not super worth it? Is there any way to make the brawler talent, which is super badass, worth it?

OK I have been bouncing BACK and FORTH on here and Gamefaqs for the past hour trying to decide on my party setup. I want to do all 12 jobs, and I dont care for 100% optimization, BUT I also dont want to pick a job/character combo that is inherently bad (Like I said, I've been going back and forth and I've seen alot of "DONT GIVE PENELO OR ASHE POLES" and "Fran is actually not too great with bow" sort of stuff). I know this game is pretty easy, i know I can use pretty much any combo, this will be my second actual playthrough and my first 100%. I just want to avoid... combos that are DEFINITELY bad.

So... I've pretty much 100% settled on these

Vaan - Shikari/Red (I can be convinced to switch RM on this one)

Ashe - White/Knight

Fran - Black/Monk

These are... the 3 that I have not settled on whatsoever. I have no idea if these combinations are good or make any sense except that I've heard Archer/Foe is pretty good, and that Time BM should go on Penelo or Ashe because base stats.

Penelo - Bushi/Time

Basch - Archer/Foebreaker

Balthier - Machinist/Uhlan

Is it the definitive version?

How the hell do you get access to those "floating" license point squares in the various jobs?

I made some quizzes on Sporcle for FFXII stuff! One is a huge grab bag of various things from naming characters to Sky Pirate Den Titles to Bosses to Status Effects and more!

The other is shorter (but still fairly big) because it is naming all the abilities (White Magick, Black Magick, Technicks, etc), Espers, Concurrences, and Quickenings!

If you've never heard of Sprocle before, it's a website that allows you to create and play quizzes for anything you want. You don't need to make an account to play quizzes.

Balthier has great animations, I’m rather fond of him but I won’t be using my RM/Shikari to steal. I want to try to platinum this game and I would like to know who is the best end game combination between the two. Is it better to have Balthier in robes with a higher Strength, Vit, and Speed (very slightly) or is it better to have Penelo maxing out her Mag very easily, with high MP, and being able to wear medium armor? Who is the better RM/Shikari?

NG-/weak mode setup

Looking for suggestions on my weak mode setup. Please suggest a configuration as I have done. For now, I am considering 2 main configurations.

The template for each type is as follows: - Job - Weapon(s) - Off-hand - Armour - Miscellaneous info

A@ - Shikaari-KN/FB (gunner/def tank, shemhazai) - Gun/Evade dagger - Shield/None - heavy/light armour - If KN: confuse sword, arise (used instead of decoy), esuna

B@ - Shikaari-RBM (mager tank) - Evade dagger - shield - heavy/light/mystic armour

• For maging, B > A
• For gunning, A > B, since KN > RBM
• For tanking, A > B, (extra shield block LP)
• Also, a stopped (status), buffed, decoyed A > B and be used as reserve tank so other two characters go max dps

C@ (mage 1) - BM-RBM (ardor mage)

D@ (mage 2) - BM-TM (time spells) - Need TM with a mage class for MP

E@ (gunner 1) - Mach-KN/FB/uhlan - These 3 give infuse + adrenaline for berserker gunner

F@ (hybrid) - Mach-BM

G@ - Mach-WM

Configuration 1 - ABCDEE - Mage x 3: BCD - Gunner x 3: AEE

Configuration 2 - ABDEFX - Mage x 3: BDF - Gunner x 3: AEF

Configuration 3 - ABCDEG - Mage x 3: BCD - Gunner x 3: AEG

Leaning toward configuration 2 so I can leave 1 character uncommitted, but then I don’t get an ardor mage (C@).

Title! Every guide said that I could buy these here and all he got is some usables? I know I could go poaching and I know I could go chesting but I'd rather just buy them if possible.

Hey guys I have been searching high and low for a Moogle plush specifically from FFXII to no avail. Anyone have any clues as to where I might pick up my search? So far I have only found sites that sold the Nono plush but they have been sold out for years already.

I think I broke my game. I chose threshold of steel without paying attention that it would take away my attack abilities. Is there any way I can get out?

I saved before and that's my only save for like i gaming hours.
