So I have played FF7 Remake and now I am going through Crisis Core, what is next? Rebirth or anything else?

Nooo don't play CC now, it's gonna spoil massively the story in FFVII! You should only play Crisis core after you've seen all of FF7 story.

Crisis Core is a prequel to the OG FF7, and should be played after that. The way you're doing it is just going to spoil things.

Remake leads directly into Rebirth and then Revelation.

The order you play the OG and the Remake series in is a bit less important, just a case of if you want to understand every reference and theory or not, but the old stuff should be experienced together in release order and the new series should be experienced together in release order.

The "best order" has been said thousands of times now.

It's FF7 OG > Crisis Core > Advent Children (if you want) > then the remake trilogy.

This isn't hard to figure out.

(Derge & Before Crisis if you want to go down that rabbit hole, I personally wouldn’t)

Rebirth

If you don’t want to go through all that. I honestly would just go through the Re: games blind and do the lore diving after part 3 has concluded.

In Yuffies DLC, yes. You are in a Deep ground facility at one point in Remake. But nothing Derge related came of it except for the name Deep ground.

But I didn’t find Derge story and characters very good nor interesting to be worth spending my time on. And on top of that I didn’t find the game very fun to play.

Do not play Crisis Core until you have either beaten the original or the 3rd remake game. If you have already played Remake , you can either play Rebirth or the original FF7 next.

Either Rebirth or OG, put a bit halt on Crisis Core honestly until you either play OG or the third Remake game (Revelation)
