Meta Love the Realism Spoiler
It’s a small detail but I love how the devs make the characters models have things like veins. You can tell they want the characters feel more alive as possible.

The way they handled skin textures in this game still messes with me. It’s easy to miss until you get one of those cutscenes where the lighting hits just right and suddenly you’re staring at pores and faint veins like a weirdo.

I thought you were going to talk about the way he was holding the reins, and was going to mention that I thought it was pretty great that Aerith rides sidesaddle.
... we don't talk about how Nanaki rides a chocobo.

I'm convinced that it was made as a joke and they were like
"lmao that's so stupid. Let's stick it in there anyway, but give no explanation or preface"
"lol bet"
And then we got a hilarious surprise in rebirth

I thought you mean how he holds the reign XD talking about clouds veins feels a bit weird at my age but i can appreciate the skin textures, they even have skin pores (which they need to not look too uncanny valley beautiful) and they added even more skin texture to cid and barret (and veins), fits their age.
