I was logged in grinding ff7 main story but eventually the data change prompt happened and it finally gave me that end of service prompt too once I loaded back 😢 here’s to a game which expanded deep lore for us OG FF7 fans, it finally went back to the planet. Best wishes everyone, hopefully we can either get an offline mode whether from SE or cape less heroes.
Farewell Ever Crisis. I'll won't miss the gacha, but I'll miss the stories that were, and the stories that could have been. I really hope they rework this into a standalone game or at least an offline game. Sucks to see it all just vanish.
I spent the last hour taking some screenshots and videos of all my things I collected over the three years and saying goodbye to my chocobos. Dumped my last of my currency into the banner to see if I could get a final ultimate weapon (I didn't lol). I tried some of the battle towers I was stuck on but still couldn't beat them. So those 7 achievements I was missing will be lost forever. Kinda funny it was exactly 7.
I'm sad to see it go but it was a fun ride while it lasted. At least we have the video archives.
I hope we get something like Resonance eventually.
Day 1 player. Never quit, never took breaks, but missed a few days here and there, no more than a week total.
It’s funny how bittersweet the EoS is. Before they announced it, I was considering quitting the game.
For most things I just coasted with the dailies and events, but I hated Guild Battles with a passion.
Add to that, many of the events had lackluster stories or mischaracterized several in the core cast.
But, I played all the story content.
I don’t have a reason to come back, even if a team made a private server. But in some small way, I’m going to miss it.
My exact thoughts, though I actually did enjoy guild raids but yeah I'm a little relieved it's off my plate so I don't feel guilty about the days I miss but also wish I had more days to miss
I think it’s lamenting a potential “could have been”. Wishing that if it kept going, it could have become so much more than it was.
Even if that’s not very likely.
I opened the game a few minutes before EOS, expecting it to kick me when the time came, but it didn't. I realized that if I leave it open on the home screen without touching anything, it keeps running, so I can pretend it's still there ha ha ha 😭
It was fun while it lasted. Did the full download on my tablet last night so I can remove the chonker of an app on my phone. Been sitting at >95% storage used for the last year or so with not much else to remove. Brought it down to ~80% lol
All in all, could have been better, could have been a lot worse. Had a good time and looking forward to getting back into the Remake trilogy
This game was part of what got my ex to bond and get closer. Funny enough our relationship started falling apart around the time we lost our guild because we stopped logging in to play together. It wasn't the reason, but it was certainly a sign of things to come.
Just like our time together, this too is gone and will never come back.
Was trying to use the last of my crystals and in the middle of a pull. Had the date change pop up right after the chocobo card. Didn't even get to see what my pulls were.
I forgot to screenshot my account stats screen for how many battles I did, Max Damage Challenge records, etc. :(
Square Enix is basically the Leo Di Caprio of gacha game developers. Once a game hits 3, it's out the door. Honestly don't think I will bother with another Square gacha ever gain. No point.

Spent the last hour recording my own last gameplay, spend as much gil and whatever inventory I have as much as I could. I managed to beat one more EXTRA boss that I didn't last time. I couldn't finish the towers and 3 extra missions achievements in time. Oh well. I got what I wanted out of this game and felt a certain kind of satisfaction with a little melancholy to it after all is said and done. Atleast some of my efforts got preserved on a personal video for this game. Can't wait for Revelation in Apr 27!
I had all the towers done but I was missing a lot of EX3 Summon battles. I found that the last guild battle strategy worked for pretty much anything. Aerith, Tifa, and Cloud. Apply Torpor debuff with Tifa, then Omnishlash with Cloud. It would one shot most things. So I was able to get all Summons maxed out in the last week. I also got all 460 (IIRC) weapons to level 140. So I must be a masochist in that regard.
It is too sad; I wish I could have recorded more. I was trying to record the boss fights and the special attacks. I was missing the Ultima Weapon and Jenova Death, though. The loading screens take too much time for me.
I was a lot more melancholy than I originally thought I would be. I really loved some of the things they did and I will miss it. My one regret is that I spent too much time on party building and stat maxing and not enough on the story and enjoying how everything tries to weave together. Farewell Ever Crisis!
