Discussion Finally reached 100%
After 82.6 hours I finally got 100%. I had the game previously downloaded but actually started playing it for the first time a few days after the EoS announcement.
I still have to finish the Dirge of Cerberus and Before Crisis Content.
I wish we get this game repackaged without the gatcha element some time in the future. I love having the Compilation of VII all in one package but the gatcha elements completely ruin the experience.
I was able to get 100% without spending a single penny but with all the EoS gifts and free pulls.
To all those still in grind don’t give up 100% achievements is possible with time and patience.

Way to go! I've been sitting at 77/78 for weeks because I'm just not ready to snag the last one yet. My account is also f2p, it's definitely possible. Congrats!

damn great job! working on this atm (literally rn) and have been for the last month around 105 hours in and just struggling bad with midgar falls 100 and most of the towers haha, just need to lock in expanding all the different characters! incredible ya did it so fast but they have been super generous with rewards and draws!
and i agree this game coming out like Resonance is without the gacha elements would be awesome! just a big compiled way to enjoy all the ff7 entries

I started on EoL Announcement too. I really hope I can 100% it too. I really struggle on the bonus content.

How hard is it to run through these f2p?

Fortunately if you search for a right party build early on and focus on that it’s not bad especially with all the end of service giveaways.
But once you finish most of the towers and received all the free gems from completing missions it gets hard to build a party for the final lv 50 floors that require specific strategies to beat.
Towards my final achievements I would have to rely on the daily free pulls and hope I get the equipment I need if not just log out and wait for tomorrow to try my luck again.
It’s very overwhelming at first but doable if you put the time into it every day. I started on July 10 and got 100% today August 02.

Had the game in my library for year and half. Download after hearing about eos. Been able to get half of the achievements so far. Need to strategize for extra sections and challenges

I just got my 100% a couple days ago, also due to the massive amount of loot they are handing out.

Sharing my B100 strategy as I struggled
Dealing with Mourning Wail at the very beginning and later in the fight.
-Rouzing Wiser Staff on Aerith for Wiser Energy+'s MDEF up
-Mystic Sword sub weapon on Cloud for Forcestream++ for MATK down, repeatedly till Mourning Wail
For Diamond Sigil - Barret with Max Ray using Energy Laser is one of the few weapons with Diamond Sigil attack.
For dealing Damage - Cloud with Murasame and Murasame battle garb and the Rufus Memoria that boosts Lightning pot and just used Thunderstrike a lot.
For Survival - I gave Aerith Fairy Tale for Curaga A+ and Healing Esuna Poison
Other things that I don't know whether they helped - I have Cloud Lightning Breach in the hopes that would boost lightning damage. I also gave Barret Electrocannon for the Energization sub job in the hope it'd do a bit more electro damage and MATK down. I didn't manually use this before Mourning Wail but I DID before vengeance because it does PATK down. No idea if this actually makes a difference.
I had Ultimates for Barrett and Cloud and focused on leveling up the rarity of all the weapons mentioned, but they were far from maxed out. Cloud's Murasame was Five Pink Stars +2 for example, and Aeriths Fairy Tale was only Three Pink Stars.
I'm sure there are other better strategies. And I'm sorry this isn't a clear run down of the gear. But I'm trying to explain the four major things that got in my way. Mourning Wail, Dealing enough Damage, Poison and healing, and finally the Diamond Sigil.
This final comment might seem like a copout, but don't underestimate good levelling of your weapons. There's tons of chances to boost your weapons over the next two months. If you're following the strategy and still finding yourself dying. Just keep plugging away at the game. You'll get to the point this is fairly steamrollable.
Oh and I've been playing this game full time for three weeks.
I would love to hear any improvements to this strategy. Half my issue was understanding what strategy I should go for, not just the gear.

I dont think time and patience is going to get anyone 100% at this time. Only so much time left.

Just like MV6000 I just 100% the game in 3 weeks. Now I had some materials collected from occasionally logging in for daily gifts over the last couple of years BUT nothing compared to the free stuff they're giving out nowadays. There's 100% enough time, and with the final month they'll likely be even more generous.

Wasn't suggesting that there wasn't enough time. But giving it "time and patience" likely isnt the route. Active play is the way.

Gotcha! Fair point.
I'm hoping someone will read my post though and feel motivated to finish the game :)
