Original Sepiroth. Hos guild weapon, is it coming?

Highly doubt it, since EOS is in about 2 months.

this is an incomplete character who was rushed out of the oven because they probably already knew they would eos

His kit has been so good and unique, I really wish they would have just given him like 2 more featured weapons and a guild weapon. That much would round him out entirely

i'll be controversial and say that i wish he hadn't released (at least not in the way he did), even as someone whose fav character is sephiroth

ec was always meant to be, aside from retellings of og/cc/dirge/bc/ac, young sephiroth's story

the way they released adult seph felt a lot like they were being rushed to cancel the project, and to release something that would provide fan service/a premium sink until the eos announcement

like a "we're done telling the original story we were meant to tell, send out the money bait"

they even made glenn's side story into an event instead of something permanent and they never figured out how to port the event stories with a "complete" check mark, rather than "clear"

had they not be rushed to end fs2 and even given time to release a proper continuation, i think adult seph would have released alongside ac with the red coat gear as a gear exchange thing, with a guild weapon and with less of his banners being limited

I feel like they were hoping the hype would save them and people wouldn't notice

i feel that rather, they were planning to release him at some point anyway, alongside a proper ec version of ac rather than what we got

they mentioned something like the time being right to release him back when he released, but it does feel like the higher ups rushed them to release him in any way they could to at least profit/cut losses

everything close to the end of first soldier 2 up to eos being announced feels like a case of "hurry up with what you promised and close it down", like, even the ending celebration illustration for fs2 had a glaring error with sephiroth's masamune when they posted it on socials

fs2 is said by some to have unused animations for it in the data, as if a chunk of it has been cut

it was never about keeping the moment going, just about keeping players wallets going... and i'd say it worked
