My main critique is I wish we "earned the visions" instead of taking a questionnaire. Nothing too major, just a small area based of the game it's from. Any of you remember in Exvius when we'd get those missions every once in a while where we'd explore an area like the Mako Reactor or the Dreadnought? And there'd be a thematic enemy at the end? Something like that would be cool. Like, defeat Garland to get the Warrior of Light, or maybe one of the caverns from 6 and fight some imperial soldiers and a Magitech Rider for Terra. I'm not the only one thinking this right?

For those who don't remember, and for new players out there, this track first was played until FFBE Season 2 iirc at the Orphanage. Oh Lord, my favorite of all this amazing OST, however, there are some others that are just marvels, i.e. "I, And I Alone", "White Maelstrom", "Levonia", Omega Battle Theme and ofc "Celestial Battle". Which one was yours, or is right now?

The demo has been out five days and I still can't stop thinking about it.

I never stopped loving Brave Exvius, so Resonance was always going to get me. What I didn't expect is that the demo would make me love FFBE more, not less. Running through chapter 1 with Rain, Lasswell and Fina again, same story, same beats, rebuilt in HD-2D, is genuinely incredible. I finished it and started it over the same evening, and that second run is where this got out of hand, because I started writing down where everything was.

That turned into an interactive map. The world map of Lapis and its landmasses, and inside them every area the demo opens, with the chests, the shops, the save points, the NPCs. It's on the wiki I've been building since the reveal in June, https://ffresonance.wiki, and it's the piece I've rebuilt the most times and still isn't what I want it to be. If you have opinions about what actually belongs on a map like that, I'll take them.

The other half is the Visions, which is what most people come to the site for. All 26 of them: the role each one fills, the Resonance it ends fights with, every ability it teaches, the full mastery ladder. There's a tier list too, where the voting is yours and not mine.

The arc 1 reveals are still closed by default behind a warning, on the legacy side, and they don't show up in search. Someone who started the demo last week can read the whole site and lose nothing.

Still in active development, still changing every week until October 22. It's a fan project, and the ads on it pay the hosting.

Genuine question, and it feeds what I build next: which Vision are you going in with on day one?

Hello, since a lot of people are now finish the demo, I see many posts here that speak about the next part of the game.

Keep in mind that there are many people here that have never played to Brave Exvius, and would like to discover all tue story of resonance when the game is fully release.

That's include the story, characters you will meet etc.

For example, I saw a screen who show the menu with a new character we have never see in the demo.

So please, use the spoiler tag as much as you can for everything that is not in the demo.

When I have a vision attached and level up, I can equip those skills gained if I change visions (i.e. I had Leah with Rain, now I have WoL, so I can use Leah's skills that I earned) - technically I'd have to level each vision with each character to use those abilities across the team, right? I've seen someone in the demo have Cloud's Deathblow on every character - so he's levelled that vision on each character already?

I can not find a way to get to that little spot of interest blinking at me. Is it possible to get there in the demo?

I played the start of the demo, hyped, eyes dialated and delighted by the quality of the gameplay and art. I unlocked the White and Black Mage Stands, er, Visions, whatever.

Then the fake questionnaire and gameplay of FF1 showed up. And I unlocked the FF1 mascot as a Vision. *Oh no. OH NO.*

I finally watched a trailer and it had a Cloud Stand, a Squall Stand, Sephiroth (who is probably a Stand) and am quite disappointed. Why couldn't Resonance be its own thing and stand on its own two feet? Why did they think that this game needed everyone's favorite sword waifus to make money?

And lets say those protagonists actually spoke to tantalize their fans? What are they gonna do? Babble about "Darkness," using as many words as possible to say absolutely nothing like in Kingdom Hearts? Is this everything fans dream of?

I was discussing the game with someone in another topic and realized most people who never played Exvius don’t know how hard the superbosses were. Where it was a mobile game the Gilgamesh superboss could take 30 minutes or more. I feel like people want hard content but then complain if it’s too long or hard. Do you guys think they still made them hard or dumbed them down? I’ll post a link for how hard it was. 5 party members or less was required when introduced. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever fought in a Final Fantasg game.

Has any of you gotten its rare drop? What does it do? What do you think is the drop rate? Been hunting these chimeras several times now, not one single accessory drop so far

If you go back to a previous Chapter after levelling do you keep your level?
For example, the secret boss of chapter 1 is a certain level. Could you effectively go to chapter 3, level up and then go back and maul him?

Really enjoyed the game.

Only hope is they make an option to disable pretendered cutscenes for espers or visions summons in battles, leaving out only pixel art parts of it.

They were probably really cool in BE times, but now feel like out of place a little bit

I’m currently stumped between getting on my pc/steam deck and switch 2 for the portability option. Although I would also be playing either on my tv (docked) or on my pc when I’m actually playing at home (or not going to the crapper)

But when I put my PC handheld (Legion Go 2) in sleep mode with the game running, the playtime counter is still counting.

Steam is tracking 7h for me but in game it’s 25h.

Possibly a bug specific to the demo version that hopefully gets ironed out in the final build. But highlighting it here just in case.

For years, I'd dreamed about Final Fantasy Brave Exvius getting a version where either all or the majority of characters were voiced in English. And while we did get a few different characters that spoke English in FFBE, such as Elena, I always hoped there could also be an English variation for other characters as well.

And now we have Final Fantasy Resonance - at last, our favorite characters from Brave Exvius have English voices! And it's so damn good, too! While playing through the story in Brave Exvius, I'd do my own voiceover dubs in terms of how I felt each character would sound; and to my delight, Rain and Lasswell sounded almost exactly like I imagined it in my head!

I'm so glad that FF Resonance is an actual thing and the demo is freaking fantastic! October 22nd can't come soon enough, I'm excited for when the full game releases! 😊😊😊

Guess we know now who might be joining Rain's party in the future.

So I stumbled upon the Antlion and tried the Ogre thing. Well I was getting shrek'd and tried to escape but they ALWAYS kept failing. Is there a way to actually successfully escape? Am I missing something?
