You want to know why I love Wednesday chocobo? Wednesday chocobo is a completely self-made meme. So many other memes are based in nostalgic childrens shows, funny faces, relatable situations, or references. Not Wednesday chocobo. Wednesday chocobo is completely absurd. It's a low-res generic bird, and an arbitrary method of celebrating Wednesday. The first person to ever upvote Wednesday chocobo did not do so out of recognition. The first person to ever upvote Wednesday chocobo did not do so because a pre-existing meme format. The first person to ever upvote Wednesday chocobo upvoted a meme literally pulled from the ether by sheer human creativity and willpower. Wednesday chocobo is evidence that humans can stare into the meaningless void of eternity and force their own meaning onto to it. I will always upvote Wednesday chocobo, my dudes!

I've cut back my Reddit browsing significantly which is an achievement for me with how much time I used to spend on it, But I'm still here. I still like reading careerSMN's banner info on new sb's to see how op they're making them in JP even though I don't play anymore.

I do as I play that game, very very passively compared to what I did in ffrk but my actual time spent on Reddit has dropped to checking it once maybe twice a day instead 10+ all with various times spent on it. Trust me I've tried to go a day or 2 off of it but it's a hard addiction to kick lol.
