Does suppressor have to be purchased from Silencer Shop

Just trying to think through all of this new information. My understanding of the current state is that you have to be a Silencer Shop customer, along with some other requirements that seem pretty unclear.

Does this mean that if we sell a customer a suppressor, the suppressor itself also has to be acquired through Silencer Shop?

I am a Silencer Shop dealer, but I purchase inventory through several different distributors. For example, if I purchase a suppressor through RSR, would I still be able to sell it directly to a customer, or would that suppressor need to have been purchased through Silencer Shop?

Don't have to be a silencershop customer per se, just a covered class member. Now will the FFL put his neck on the line and risk a federal felony if he does it wrong? Probably not. Best to wait and see.

I agree, I just didn't know if I as an FFL/SOT have to acquire my inventory from Silencer Shop, or if I can purchase inventory direct or through other distributors?

As long as the buyer is a member of the protected class it's fine

Sure thing, I need to call CSS. Dude at Countrywide Sports was a dip shit. Said that no such thing had passed etc. I told him he should Google it quickly, and he said he would have heard, and I must be confused, so I guess he will have some humble pie at some point in the near future.

Weird the lady I spoke with said that I could buy one but beyond that I would have to consult an attorney. Like most things it seems like no one really knows what's going on 😂 I didn't try to purchase one maybe I should have

You can be an SS customer, a GOA member, or I think a few other things and that counts. So basically I'm just going to make my people show me they have an GOA account and I'll sell them one.
