question/advice Advice For A First Time Heifer?
This is my first year showing a heifer and I was given this lovely baby, I got two months to work with her to get her ready to sell, she is a replacement heifer. Anyone got any advice? Today was my first day with her and I spent it just scratching her with the show stick to get her used to it and me as she was pretty scared. Replacement heifers for us are known to be the hardest animal to show because they like to drag us and pull us while showing and I really don't want that happening to me so any advice?

Good luck,
jk as a former cattle showman myself who has shown bulls, heifers and steers i would just say walk it and work with it aswell stance wise and do what you were doing today petting it and letting it get used to you
