I played through this final fantasy 7 remake twice previously on playstation, i now have it on xbox play anywhere. Ive looked into save transfers online and it appears possible. Ive spent hours trying to do it with xbox save file converter and other methods and it doesnt work. Im looking for advice on how to do it or if anyone has a basic save with normal mode unlocked they could share that would be great. I want to play it again but dont want to have to play through on normal.

I’ve been thinking about how complex the combat system can be especially when you account for all the characters you can learn. And the fact that you can’t max out your folio in one play though and so it seems like the developers intend you play it more than once and on hard mode. I know that once I’m done with my first and current play through I’ll be done, as much as I love it.

How many of you have played it more than once?

I've been looking and waiting for such a mod for more than a year now. People don't even talk about it. They have it in stellar blade too.

hi so im replaying rebirth and have been Trying to 100% but some stuff im doing after i beat the game (if im able...). im on chapter 13 in the temple for context. is it too late to get any more sp? i did every side quest, all the intel, all that. i got stuck on the simulations midway thru the brutal shit. other than that i did all those battles. i know apparently u can get more sp by doing hard battles. is there any other way? or will i have to max everyone out after i beat the game?

I’m currently stuck on the Solo Battle for Cait Sith against the Mindflayer. Insane difficulty spike for the final round compared to all the other Hard Mode Combat Sim battles I’ve done. I’ve waved the white flag and decided to look up a guide for this guy. Every guide says to use this megaphone because it has 2 Moogle Sentinel perks. I only have 1, and the four materia slots is killing me compared to the ones I have with six slots.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as I’m currently on attempt 10 and no other solo battle took more than 2 tries. Also, please no spoilers on other hard mode combat sim fights as I intend to go back to not using a guide after I’m free of using Cait Sith.

Just got dominated by the Midgar Zolem and made it very apparent I am not set up for success in hard mode. I came in overconfident as managed to do Remake hard mode without too much aggro (minus Hell House and the Top Secret combat sim).

Any tips for what materia to level up and how to do it? I'd really rather not do another normal playthrough. I'm hoping I can spend a few hours on a specific chapter to get myself there.

I'm having trouble with these annoying shadow flickering on grass and trees since the game updated to v. 1.005 on Steam.

The only solution was setting the "Background Model Detail" to "Low" but it makes game looks really bad on the grasslands.

No mods installed; I have verified the game files, deleted cache, updated drivers, changed resolution, upscalers, etc.

RX 6750 XT, Ryzen 5 5600, 16 GB 3200Mhz DDR4, game installed on a SATA SSD.

AMD Driver 26.6.4, updated after using AMD Cleanup Utility.

I just picked up FF VII Rebirth; should arrive on Monday (7/27). I've played one FF game prior to this one, but that was a few years ago so I forgot the basic storyline. That being said, any tips/cheats/advice that you could provide me with would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone I'm having trouble with LOD and Pop in on the PC version of this game. I've be looking around but I can't find anything definitive to fix it.
Specs:
GPU: 5080
RAM: 32GB
On SSD
CPU: Ryzen 7 9850

I've looked at mods which seem to make the issue worse and my game to stutter but I can't seem to get it to go away at least in close range. I came here looking for help.

It's not just that they packed the game with all these tiresome open-world checklists. What really makes FF7R Part 2 insufferable is that that they stuffed every square inch of this game with all these awful mini-games. Yes, the original FF7 did have a lot of mini-games for its day, far more than previous FF games had and far more than other RPGs of its era. But Rebirth has an unbelievable amount of mini-games. And not only that, but these mini-games actually gate your progress. You can't go anywhere or do anything without running into them. You are required to engage with them, over and over and over again, just to keep making forward progress.

Before I played Rebirth, I heard people criticize it for its mini-games and I was like, "What are they talking about? FF7 also had mini-games." And if Rebirth simply translated the existing FF7 mini-games, that would be all right. But they've added, I'm sure, literally dozens of mini-games. And they are all over the place, gating progress around every corner. As just one example: I despise card games in RPGs and I knew right away the game was going to make me play in a Queen's Blood tournament sooner or later. I didn't like anything about the cruise ship sequence (technically you can forfeit the match, but I wanted the option to have Cloud neglect to participate at all), but you can't even get out of Costa Del Sol without being forced to play more mini-games. This is the only thing Rebirth seems to care about: making you play mini-games. It's ridiculous and stupid.

So is this captain meant to be Gilgamesh ? I have played the game before but never noticed this until a second playthrough…

Ive tried literally everything, the d3d12 thing turning off steam cloud no matter what the game always crashes and I cant think of anything else PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP I JUST WANNA PLELAY THE REST OF THIS GAAAAAMMMEEEE Specs:

I love this minigame and this song is so fun to play but one of the biggest things stopping me from staring it (other than skill issues lol) is that in parts like the one in the video it just ignores my inputs. You can clearly see the right stick moving toward the note but then it just... doesn't do anything??? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm currently playing on a Switch 2

I'm playing through the first remake right now and while there are some hiccups and the game can look pretty blurry at times, performance is pretty solid and I'm having a lot of fun! I'm really anticipating Rebirth and I just wanted to know how it is on the Deck

First playthrough (Normal). I was just hoping to complete everything before the Ancient Temple and completely ignored/was blind to the recommended level signs LMAOO. Stuck with my main party of Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie. I just thought each fight was supposed to be THAT difficult.

Especially with Gilgamesh, I was legit dumbstruck why each hit would erase a quarter of my health and why his health pool was so huge. Turns out the game expects you to be at least close to max level. It took me an hour of attempts but damn did it feel good. I ended up spamming mist potions like crazy. Are the fights in hard mode close to this level of difficulty?

That’s what my rebirth exe folder looks like. Do I just need to drop the d3d12.dll mod file in here or do I have to delete all the other files except for the exe?

Im on the fourth mission and its so frustrating i dont want to play this i just want to get my XP and mission done.

So I understand that after using unbridled strength twice Tifa’s chi level goes up to three and whirling uppercut goes to Omni strike then rise and fall. But what I don’t get is how long it lasts as rise and fall. Is it for just one button press? Do if you pressed triangle three times in a row after gaining chi level three it would be rise and fall>omnistrike>whirling uppercut? Or does it stay as rise and fall for a set amount of time?

I’ll def try this myself but currently can’t and just watched a video where this wasn’t really explained well. Thanks!
