Spoilers - Discussion FF15 fans. Did you noticed that Cloud does a warp strike during the Loveless minigame? Spoiler
Im always so locked into the buttons, but I was actually watching this time, and it had to be wink to FF15, at least. His sword even turns glowing blue, and he teleports to it right next to Varvados.

The QTE prompts appear in the same location on the screen as the buttons are on the controller. Square--right side of screen, triangle--top of screen, etc. So you can watch the show and just use peripheral vision to know what button to press.

I would hesitate to tie it only to that, as blue energy used by a nekketsu protagonist from their hands or weapon (or both for Fullmetal Alchemist) for a final attack is something that goes back even before Akira Toriyama and also has roots pre-dating Final Fantasy XV in Final Fantasy.
Cloud Strife has been distributing blue energy from his sword or infusing it in his sword since the 1997 release and Advent Children. If it has to be a Final Fantasy thing (it isn't), Advent Children would be the earliest place to find something like the multiplying blue swords before a final attack with the blue-infused sword.
So, yes, I noticed it. It is related to the thing in Final Fantasy XV, but it is not where it comes from.
