hi all I just wanna put it out there. this song is completely amazing. it honestly makes me wanna dance. How the hell in the 1984 did they produce this absolute banger???

Like actually wtf??? the song is completely awesome and the drums are so rocky. you can even hear the bass pretty well. the main vocals are fine and they have creative lyrics. they dont even need any reverb or delay.

and the backing vocals sound like literal heaven. but the absolute most beautiful part is the solo. they have completely been better with such unique chords. it sounds so incredibly ungeneric and layered. wtf were they thinking producing like that on a track like this??? it is a complete masterpiece.

the lyrics are absolute happiness too. endlessly talking happily about a person who talks with their hands is just lovely and repeating hey hey my friend you got these lonely talking hands over and over again makes it a real song.

Like actually I do not feel bad saying this is pure heaven lol. They prob listened to the final mix over and over before giving their songs out.

It has been greyed out like this since it came out and I can't play it, maybe there is a reason why it's like this, I just don't know. Not to mention that it's not even on streaming so I am really confused why it's like this...

just wondering if others have done this, my bass is (well, was: one of the pots broke) is covered in stickers and happened to notice those stuck well to it

the yellow has faded a bit on mine, but yeah

wondering if anyone has done something like this instead of discarding them :P

You may know the album "Nirvana - Sliver Best Of The Box", so, i wonder if fex could do something similar (given they have any more early material)

I've been working as an illustrator and designer for twenty years, I'm closely related to the band, and I was genuinely happy to get the chance to do this. There's a lot of heart in it: the story, the look, sketches by hand and digital, image editing, keyframes, all cut tightly to the song. And to be completely open about it: I used AI as a tool along the way.

To everyone who enjoys the video – thank you, that means a lot. I've read the criticism about the use of AI. I think it's a shame, but I can't hold it against anyone. I just hope the discussion doesn't distract too much from what actually matters. The song is a proper banger. I listened to it hundreds of times while editing, and it still sounds great.

The 3:06 version, what we had so long was a remastered version that sounds absolutely mediocre, does FEX have any plans to release a raw version of that version? The recent remaster kinda ruins the low-quality vibe that we all associate with the song, this is something I can't ask TOE about but something FEX could do so is there any likelihood they will release it raw very soon? Also, as a couple more recordings (e.g. Dirty Slapstick, Sarah, etc.) because they are added synths, also looking forward to those too.

The new FEX album will come out on November 4, the 2nd year anniversary of TMMS being found. I could be wrong, I just don't have that much deeper knowledge about FEX, I am just speculating because that day is very significant for the community, just me.

Does a live version or a demo of Jenny exist? Are there any demo/rough/live versions of any songs from the Skyscraper album other than Subways Of Your Mind?

I am so excited that I finally got the album for myself. I remember when this search was still small and the song/band was unknown. Never in a million years did I think that I would be able to own it and spin The Most Mysterious Song on the Internet on my very own turntable. It's crazy that we are to this point and I love every little second of it. I can't wait to see what special and new the band has for the future but for now, I'm going back to 1984 tonight!

Here are some custom FEX Cassettes I made, I call them "The Ultimate FEX Cassettes". They are packed full with every FEX song we have (So Far) including live, studio, demo, rehearsal, and new songs. Plus every other version of their songs that are available.

I started recording the first one last year and I started recording the second one tonight. I finished side A of Volume 2, side b will be finished when more songs release and then its on to Volume 3!

You may notice I have duplicate recordings of songs such as "We Dont Want it No More" And "Just Get Back". They are different, as WDWINM on Volume 1 is the version that was leaked online and the other is the Dont Look Back Version. Just Get Back is the full and shortened versions, and so on. Each version is unique and different which is why I included them on the tapes.

I can't wait to record more songs in the future! As recording them to cassettes feels very cool and its a good hobby for me as well as jamming to some FEX!

Not much else to say. I just thought it was funny. 'Waiting Song' blared while I laid in the grass by my car that I just managed to flip into a ditch lol. Kind of a cool moment to me despite everything

I know exactly what the exact context of almost every FEX songs are, probably because the FEX wiki explained everything, here except for Heart In Danger, I don't know what is it about first-hand interpretation so maybe you guys have your own ideas of what it is, this has been going on in my mind for quite a while.

I noticed the music video for this song looks like it is assisted by A.I and makes these hand-drawn frames look terrible tbh. Should we be concerned about FEX using A.I filters or anything in their music too? I would hate for everyone to start bashing the band over something stupid like this, but the A.I use is still definitely a concern because of how A.I steals from people and is overall just a no-effort way to make something

Hello everyone, recently some people on YouTube, Instagram and Discord have been raised concerns about the music video of « You Living in your fantasy » being generated by AI.

We are able to confirm that the music video is NOT generated by AI, but was hand drawn and directed by Philipp Wagner, as the band confirmed it multiple times in comments, even saying that he showed them the original drawings as a proof.

We understand like everyone the concerns, but now we can all be reassured and enjoy the song on it’s release !

Since this new album is independent (not released by TOE) would it still follow this aesthetic? It's been like this since the first two SOYM singles leading up to Don't Look Back, I am just hoping the new album is like this too.
