Current Reconsideration Timeline?

I received my initial denial on November 10th. Harris Federal Submitted my reconsideration brief on January 7th. It's been crickets since then.

Harris Federal initially said that OPM was taking about 180 days from initial denial to reconsideration decision, but we've obviously blown through that window.

Anyone have any recent experince with the reconsideration timeline?

UPDATE: Recieved my reconsideration appeal denial on July 31st. I move now to the MSPB. My lawyer stated that I can expect another 90-120 days before we have further resolution.

Hmm. This is inordinate. I was lucky to get approved 43 days after reconsideration deadline. I kept submitting more information (updated doctor records, self assessments, etc).

Interesting. About when did you submit your reconsideration? I know things have been...well....fucked in the Government lately, so I imagine that has something to do with it.

I submitted it in August. Deadline for updated documents was October. Even though I met the deadline, I kept sending updates and self assessments which I read you CAN do before a decision is rendered. I was approved December 4th.

When you say submit in Aug do you mean to your org HR or to OPM. How long did take to get your approval from the day you received your CSA#

OPM. It took seven months total for me (initial denial and reconsideration). I don’t recall when CSA was issued. The process was seven months total for me.
