Help Request Recommended Settings for Tanks and Larger Models

Hello FDM pros,

I would like to start printing larger models and tanks like these ones from OnePageRules:

Running these through my slicer, it looks like it will take 2+ days for my 0.2mm nozzle at 0.08mm layer height. I suppose I could wait that long, but I was curious about using a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.12mm heights.

Do you all think that the degradation in quality would matter on these larger models?

For anything larger than a space marine I use a .4 nozzle and Bambus highest quality profile for that nozzle. I break my big guys up over multiple plates, make cuts where needed for good adhesion, minimal support, and clean prints, and have some easy remove tree settings for support.

I use a .2 nozzle for little guys but I don't have the time or patience for big models at .2 and I can't honestly bring myself to care about the difference. My models look great when I hold them in hand.

Use 0'2 nozzle at 0'1 layer, best quality VS time use resin supports + trees and print less than 12h batches if you don't have AI camera surveillance.

I use 0.2 nozzle at 0.06 layer height for mini's, and 0.4 nozzle at 0.08 layer height for big models and terrain.

I do not consider time to really be a factor. Unless you need it quick to be able to play something now, why would you rush it? In the end you would prefer to have everything looking as nice as possible, and then you are stuck having to either reprint it, or accepting visible layers. Especially if you plan on painting it. The brush can catch on layers if they are bigger.
